IP400 Quick Start Guide
The Gateway is a four port device designed to interface the IP PBX, which
is LAN based, with the traditional telephone network. The Model 400 is
designed to provide 4FXO ports for connecting to the traditional telephone
network for connection to an IP PBX.

Off Power Off
Statuus On The VoIP Gateway has successfully registered to SIP server.
Flashing The VoIP Gateway has not registered to SIP server.
LAN On The LAN port is active.
Off No active connection on the LAN port.
Flashing Data is being transmitted or received via the LAN port.
Line 1, 2, 3 and 4 On The PSTN port is active.
Off The PSTN port is not in use.
Flashing The device connecting to the line is ringing.
Power Connect the supplied power adapter here.
Reset Button This button has two (2) functions:
Reboot. When pressed for less than 6 seconds and
released, the VoIP Gateway will reboot (restart).
Clear All Data. When press for 6 seconds longer then
released. ALL data are cleared and restored to the factory
default values, and the VoIP Gateway will reboot.

Typical Small Office Configuration

Connecting the IP400
Connect the IP400 to the local network.
Navigate to the networks router via a web browser.
Open the DHCP Client Table.
Match the IP400’s MAC address with the associated IP address.

Configuring the IP400
Open a web browser on a computer connected to the local network.
Navigate to the IP address of the IP400 (obtained in step 1).
Login to the IP400
User: Admin
Password:
Setup > SIP Service:
Under SIP Server:
SIp Proxy Address: 192.168.2.14 (IP address of the PBX)
SIP Proxy Port: 5060
Registration Time: 3600 (seconds)

Under Outbound Proxy:
Check enable Outbound Proxy
Outbound Proxt Address: 192.168.2.14 (IP address of the PBX)
Save Settings
Setup > Line Settings:
Under each line enter the phone number associated with that line.
[5555555555] (no spaces, no hyphens, no dashes, no periods, no parenthesis)
Register:
Username: gateway (choose a unique username for the IP400)
Password: gateway (choose a unique username for the IP400)
Save Settings
Restarting the IP400
Administration > Reboot
Click on Restart System and wait for the device to restart.

Creating a SIP Provider on the PBX
Log ino the PBX
Go to Provider > SIP Providers
Click Add New
Restarting the IP400
Name: gateway (a recognizable name for the IP400)
User Type: Friend
DTMF Mode: auto
Host: dynamic
Register: No
Auth: No
Username: gateway (same as entered for the IP400 in step 2)
Secret: gateway (same as entered for the IP400 in step 2)
Outbound Caller ID: (leave this field blank)
Call Limit: 2 (number of lines attached to the IP400)
Leave the rest of the fields at their defaults or change them in accordance with your system.
