User’s Guide
1 Introduction
Magic eye is a driver assistance system developed by Datick Information. Intelligent whose objective is to
alert the driver of determined risk situations while driving.
Attention
Read carefully the this manual and its safety precautions before beginning using the product.
The alerts can be notified to the conductor through seat vibrations and visual warnings.
The seat vibrations requires compatible seats with the MagicEye system.
The visual warnings are shown through a pilot LED or, optionally, through a display or screen. In case of
using a display or screen to notify the alerts, the driver must avoid all types of distraction with the device, always
paying attention to the road.
By means of a disconnecting knob, the driver can deactivate the alarms, and activate them again.

2 System limitations
The system does not substitute any of the driver's function, neither disclaims the conductor to be fully
aware of everything while driving. Always respect the traffic laws and the safety standards.
MagicEye isn't a automatic conduction system, it does not substitute any of the driver's responsibilities
while driving. It recommended to the driver not to trust the MagicEye as a valid substitute for their work.
MagicEye was developed to be used on well paved roads, with well marked tracks.
Despite the MagicEye represents a technological item of artificial vision, the system does not guarantee
100% detections of tracks and obstacles on the road, neither alert of potential risks on the road. Beyond the road
conditions, the visibility and the weather may affect severely the system's capability. In consequence, the drivers
does not trust on the system to their safety.
Any circumstance that may affect, partially or totally, the radar's frontal visibility will have as result a
imprecise functioning, or that the frontal colision system stop working.

MagicEye requires a calibration during the system's installation. A good calibration is important to
guarantee an adequate precision. A bad calibration might cause an imprecise functioning, or even make the system
to stop working.
Guarantee always a good visibility and a correct calibrations of the camera.
3 Functioning
In case the seat possess a vibration system, the system will alert the driver by blinking a LED and vibrating
the seat. Each time the driver starts the car, the seat will vibrate for five seconds, indicating that the system is on.
If the car does not possess the vibrational seat, to check the compatibility of your vehicle with the
vibrational seats available, get in contact with the technical support of "Datik Informacíon Inteligente".
Abandonment or involuntary track change detection.
Once installed, and have done all road tests, the system of ( " involuntary track change detection " ) will
activate from the pre-set speed ( 70km/h, standard) always that the road conditions are good enough and the
calibration has been done correctly.

Magic Eye will determine the bus position between the tracks and will warn in case the driver passes the
determined tracks of any side, always when the track change isn't done with arrows. These margins are defined in
a way that the alarm will sound if the track is reached.
The system will warn the driver, by a luminous LED on the dashboard. In case of a vibrating seat, MagicEye
system will vibrate the seat on the side that has reached the track.
The involuntary track change is activated when the arrows are not used.
Frontal collisions detection
Once installed the MagicEye system and have done all road tests, the system (" Frontal collision detection"
), will be operative from the pre-set speed ( 70km/h, standard), always that the weather conditions are good
enough, the curve isn't too narrow and there is no abrupt lane change.
The frontal collision detection, will begin to detect frontal vehicles from 50 m of distance. From the moment
that the system detect that there is a vehicle inside this distance margin and detect that the vehicle is approaching,
a alarm signal will begin.
Activate and deactivate the alerts
Some situations on the road may obligate the driver to conduce above the tracks ( work on the road, for
exemple). If the MagicEye alert the driver with high frequence, the system could be disconnected at any moment,
by pressing the correspondent knob, ( consult it's location ). The knob can be marked with a camra figure, depending
on the installed version.

Attention
It can be disconnected the seat vibration at any moment, using the disconnection knob.
To the well functioning of the MagicEye system:
Will have to exceed the minimum speed of 70 km/h.
The vibratory seat knob needs to be on.

The camera needs to be correctly installed and calibrated in its correspondent place.
The radar needs to be correctly installed in its correct place and without any object capable of
decrease the road vision.
The radar will begin to sound the alarm, when detects that there are vehicles within 50 meter or
less of distance and getting closer.
Incorrect functioning of MagicEye system.
The MagicEye was programed to well paved roads, with track marks. If any of these circumstances does not
occur, the program might not work properly, not detecting the tracks. On the other side, a bad weather condition
may directly affect the system's functioning.
The camera's position cannot be changed, in case of movement the camera won't ensure the system's
correct function, then a system's recalibration might be necessary.
