Thank you for your purchase of the SC410 from Intelligent Surveillance
Corporation. We take pride in delivering rugged, dependable units with ease of
use in mind. The following will serve as basic instruction on device operation.
1. Firmly open door clasp to gain access to the internal components of the unit.
2. Press battery tray button and remove battery tray from the unit.
3. Next remove the battery cap from the tray and set aside. This piece is used to keep
battery firmly in place in the tray while the unit is in transit and operation.
4. Load your battery tray with 8 AA batteries. When utilizing battery power the SC410 must
operate on Lithium batteries to maintain proper voltage during operation. Keep in mind
terminal orientation as labeled in the bottom of the battery tray.
5. Replace battery cap and insert loaded battery tray into unit until button clicks into place.
6. Next install a Class 10 SD card (up to 1 TB) into the SD card slot until it clicks into place.
7. Now the unit is ready to be powered on, registered, and setup for use in the field.
8. With the unit facing you where you can see the lens:
• Top left port is I/O port. This port is used to
connect to another device that can utilize a 12v
power command.
• Bottom left port is External LTE antenna. This
can be utilized to add an external antenna when
using the unit in areas of poor cellular signal.
• Top Right port is the 12v DC Jack. This port
is utilized to add an external 12v power source
utilizing our proprietary external power plug.
• Bottom right port is for an external WIFI
antenna. This port is utilized to extend wifi
service when needed by adding an additional
long range external antenna to the device.

1. Log onto isc.cando.com and create a user profile using your email address and a
password you setup. It will require a two-factor authentication as well so have your
cellular phone handy for that step. Remember these credentials as they will be used to
sign in and adjust settings on your unit each time.
2. After your user profile is created you can now add your camera to that account. Locate
your serial number printed on the bottom of the door. Enter that serial number into the
system to associate that camera with your newly created user profile. After entering
your serial number the unit will be successfully registered for use and warranty service
from the date of activation.
REGISTRATION
To utilize the remote control features the SC410 oers you must first register
the unit and create a user profile account .

1. NETWORK SELECTION: This will allow the user to select which network they would
like to utilize for operation. You can choose between LTE, WIFI, or NONE.
• LTE Operation will transmit images and videos via cellular connection. You can
choose between Verizon and ATT. By default the unit will internally select the
strongest signal in the area it is deployed and operate on that network.
• WIFI operation will transmit images and video via your local WIFI network. This
connection will be limited to signal strength and internet speeds of the router it is
connected to. It is recommended the unit is deployed within 100ft of router location
for optimal results.
• NONE is an option that is selected when it is desired the unit does not transmit
images and video and it only saves the content to the SD card. Selecting this mode
will turn o the LTE and WIFI modems and will increase battery life when utilizing
this mode.
2. TIME ZONE: Next select the time zone that the unit will be deployed in. The SC410 will
automatically register and set time/date when it connects to the network you selected.
3. BATTERY TYPE: Select the method of power you will be utilizing during device
operation in the field. You can choose DC external power, Alkaline/Lithium battery
power or NiMh rechargeable batteries. It is important you select the correct power
source for proper device operation.
GENERAL SETTINGS
This section of the user portal will allow customized setup of basic settings.
Here you will be able to set and adjust all of the settings of your unit remotely.

1. CAMERA MODE: Select which mode you would like the unit to operate on. You can
select between Picture, Video or Hybrid mode (picture and video).
2. TRIGGER INTERVAL: This is used to select the length of time between each trigger.
You can select between 0-60 second intervals.
3. IMAGE SIZE: This setting is used to select desired picture resolution. You can select
between 4000x3000 or 1600x1200. For best quality images 4000x3000 is recommended.
4. IMAGE COUNT: This setting is used to select the number of images captured each
trigger. You can select between 1-10 images per trigger.
5. CAPTURE DELAY: This setting is used to set the amount of time between each picture
during a burst setting. You can select from 0-10 seconds of delay.
6. PROCESS LPR: This setting is used to turn on License Plate Recognition. Enabling this
setting will set default parameters that are optimal for use of license plate recognition.
7. PROCESS SENDMAIL: This setting is used to choose where or not the image will send
via email. Enabling this setting will allow the device to send to the email address you
enter below.
8. MAX SHUTTER TIME LPR: This setting is used to select the average speed of the
vehicles passing by in the are the unit is deployed. This will allow the camera to operate
on set parameters that are ideal for the speed chosen.

This section of the user portal will allow setup of how you would like to
utilize your unit.

1. ANTENNA SELECTION: The SC410 unit is equipped with internal antennas for LTE,
WIFI and GPS. You can choose between internal antenna or external antenna. It is
recommended to utilize external antenna in areas of poor signal.
2. SIM CARD SELECTION: This setting is used to select desired cellular carrier for use.
You can choose between internal sims or use a nano insertable sim in the SIM slot. For
internal sims you can choose between Verizon, ATT and FirstNet (if eligible for use).
LTE CONFIGURATION
This section in the user portal is used to setup desired settings for
operation on an LTE network.

1. CAMERA NAME: This setting is used to name the camera. This will be the name of the
camera when it sends to the email address.
2. EMAIL ADDRESS: This setting is used to enter in the email address you would like the
unit to send the pictures or videos too. You can enter multiple emails in this option as
well.
SMTP CONFIGURATION
This section in the user portal is used to setup transmitting images and
pictures to an email address of your choice.

INFRARED INTENSITY
This section in the user portal will allow you to control the brightness of
the IR LEDs for night time images. You can select between LOW, MEDIUM
and HIGH intensity.
PASSIVE INFRARED SENSOR
This section will allow you to set the sensitivity on the PIR trigger. You
can select between 32-200. The lower the number the more sensitive the
sensor will be to motion.
After all settings have been selected then click the “SAVE” button
on the right hand side of the screen and the settings will be sent to
your camera and updated over the air. You can elect to change these
settings at anytime and always click “SAVE” to update the settings.
