INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the Ivation® Cordless
Butane Glue Gun. This User Guide is intended to
provide you with guidelines to ensure that operation
of this product is safe and does not pose risk to the
user. Any use that does not conform to the guidelines
described in this User Guide may void the limited
warranty.
Please read all directions before using the product
and retain this guide for reference. This product is
intended for domestic use only. It is not intended for
commercial use.
This product is covered by a limited one-year
warranty. Coverage is subject to limits and exclusions.

• Don’t use this glue gun until you thoroughly read and understand
all of the operation instructions and warnings. Deviating from these
instructions could result in fire, explosions, property damage, and/
or operator injury. Don’t try to operate this device without reading
the instructions.
• Make sure to familiarize yourself with the appliance itself before using it.
• Don’t use any fuel other than purified butane with this torch, or else
it could result in fires, explosions, property damage, and/or operator
injury.
• Always wait for the glue gun to cool down before handling. Failure to
do so could result in severe burns.
• Before using this appliance, check all the parts to make sure they
function properly, and make sure no components have been damaged.
• Keep the glue gun out of the reach of children.
• Always keep away from heat or flame, and avoid prolonged exposure
to sunlight.
• Do not store the glue gun or butane near heat or in a room used for
habitation.
• Never attempt to modify the glue gun construction and never use
unapproved fuel, or else it could result in fires, explosions, property
damage, and/or operator injury.
• Don’t use a leaking, damaged, or malfunctioning glue gun.
• Treat this glue gun as you would any fine tool or instrument. If it’s
ever damaged, do not use it, and immediately contact an authorized
service center for assistance.
• If improperly operated, maintained, or repaired, this glue gun can be
dangerous. Improper use, service repair, or modification of the torch
could result in damage to the product, property damage, or personal
injury to the operator.
DANGER: EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE.
• Do not insert metallic or pointy objects into the air inlet.
• Before replacing the glue gun in its box, make sure the unit is o
and fully cooled down.
• Do not immerse hot parts in water; allow them to cool down
naturally.
• When refilling with butane, be advised that dierent gas pressure
may cause a dierence in the volume of fuel required to refill. This
will not aect the operation of the unit.
• When the butane cylinder is empty, dispose of it properly in a safe
and approved location. Do not throw the cylinder into a fire,
puncture, or incinerate it.
• Do not inhale gas, fumes, vapor, or spray from the butane cylinder
or glue gun, and avoid contact with skin and eyes. If inhaled,
immediately move the aected person to fresh air. For skin
contact, flush with lots of water. In case of eye contact, rinse
immediately with plenty of water and then seek medical advice.
• Only use this glue gun in well-ventilated areas.

HOW TO FILL:
Before adding butane, make sure the power switch is in the OFF
position.
Turn the glue gun upside down, so the butane valve is facing up.
Using purified butane gas, hold the cylinder over the glue gun’s butane
valve, with the butane cylinder’s nozzle pointing downward toward the
glue gun’s butane valve, as in Figure 1.
Do not position the glue gun OVER the butane cylinder, as shown in
Figure 2. This is incorrect.
When the butane tank is full, gas will begin to escape. This means it is
time to stop filling. Do not attempt to fill with more butane past this
point.
Once the tank is filled, allow the butane to settle for a few moments
before attempting to light the glue gun.
If there is a hissing sound when the tank has been filled, you can press
the tip of a ballpoint pen into the butane valve to ensure that it closes
properly. Do not point the glue gun toward yourself or other people or
animals while doing this.
HOW TO LIGHT AND USE:
Slide the power switch to On. There should be a hissing sound.
Push the ignition button, then release it.
You should notice a red glow in the heat indicator window.
Rest the glue gun on its stand at a 45-degree angle to allow glue to
soften. This will take 1 – 2 minutes. Do not place the unit in a
horizontal position at this time, as that will impede the ability of the
glue to soften properly.
BE CAREFUL – GLUE IS NOW VERY HOT AND CAN CAUSE BURNS.
To release hot glue as desired, pull the trigger. You can now work at
any angle and do not need to keep the glue gun at a 45-degree angle.
When your task is complete, turn the power switch back to the O
position.

PLEASE NOTE: This glue-gun has an automatic Temperature
Control Feature. If it becomes too hot, the flow of butane will
automatically cycle o, then cycle back on again. This maintains
the glue at the optimal temperature for use.
TO LOAD A NEW GLUE STICK:
Make sure the power switch is in the O position and the unit has
cooled to room temperature.
Insert the new glue stick into the glue stick inlet.
To move it into position, press the trigger all the way in a couple of
times.
TO CHECK FOR LEAKS:
If you suspect that there is a butane leak, follow these steps:
Take the unit outdoors, to a well-ventilated area away from flames or
excessive heat.
Apply soapy water to the butane valve, or other part that you suspect
is leaking.
Watch for bubbles.
If bubbles appear, discard the appliance.

WHO MAY USE THIS WARRANTY? C&A Marketing, Inc. located at 114
Tived Lane East, Edison, NJ (“we”) extend this limited warranty only
to the consumer who originally purchased the product (“you”). It does not
extend to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the product.
WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY COVER? This limited warranty covers
defects in materials and workmanship of the Ivation® Cordless Butane
Glue Gun (the “product”) for the Warranty Period as defined below.
WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY NOT COVER? This limited warranty does
not cover any damage due to: (a) transportation; (b) storage; (c)
improper use; (d) failure to follow the product instructions or to perform
any preventive maintenance; (e) modifications; (f) unauthorized repair;
(g) normal wear and tear; or (h) external causes such as accidents,
abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control.
WHAT IS THE PERIOD OF COVERAGE? This limited warranty starts
on the date of your purchase and lasts for one year (the “Warranty
Period”). The Warranty Period is not extended if we repair or replace
the product. We may change the availability of this limited warranty
at our discretion, but any changes will not be retroactive.

Defective Merchandise Authorization (“DMA”) number. No warranty
service will be provided without a DMA number and return shipping
costs to our facilities shall be assumed by you, the purchaser. Shipping
costs of the replacement unit to you shall be assumed by us.
