User Guide
Thank you for purchasing the Ivation Ice Shaving Snow
Cone Maker. This User Guide is intended to provide you
with guidelines to ensure that operation of this product
is safe and does not pose risk to the user. Any use
that does not conform to the guidelines described
in this User Guide may void the limited warranty.
Please read all directions before using the product
and retain this guide for reference. This product is
intended for household use only.
This product is covered by a limited one-year warranty.
Coverage is subject to limits and exclusions. See warranty for details.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not place cord, plugs, or appliance
in water or other liquid.
3. Children should not operate this appliance and care should be taken when used
near children.
4. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before attaching or removing parts, and
before cleaning.
5. Avoid contact with moving parts.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any way. Return to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair or electrical /
mechanical adjustment.
7. The use of unauthorized attachments, including ice box or ice cone holder not
recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or
injuries to persons.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not hang cord over the edge of table or counter.
10. Keep cord away from hot surfaces, such as a stove.
11. Do not use if blades are broken, cracked or loose.
12. Do not leave appliance unattended while operating.
13. Always check shaver bowl for foreign objects before using.
14. This ice shaver is turned “ON” and “OFF” by pressing and releasing the switch
located on the top of the unit and by plugging and unplugging the unit from the
wall outlet.
15. This ice shaver has an “Auto On-OFF” feature, which will stop the unit
automatically once the ice shaving session is complete.
16. The unit will not work unless the ice shaver bowl is filled with Ice.
17. Blades are sharp. Use extreme caution during assembly, while operating,
disassembly and cleaning.
18. Keep hands and utensils out of the ice bowl while operating to reduce the risk
of severe injury to persons or damage to the unit.
19. Keep fingers out of feed and discharge openings.
20. Do not run the appliance continuously for more than three (3) minutes as
overheating may occur. Allow motor to cool down before each use.
21. Do not place this appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or where it
could contact a heated oven.
22. Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended use.

IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL SAFEGUARDS
1. Users of this appliance must read and understand these instructions before
operating or cleaning this appliance.
2. The cord to this appliance should be attached to a 120 V AC electrical outlet ONLY.
3. If this appliance malfunctions during use, immediately release pressure on the
cup and unplug the cord. Do not use or attempt to repair a malfunctioning appliance.
4. If this appliance falls or accidentally is immersed in water, unplug it immediately.
Do not reach into the water!
5. Do not use this appliance after it has fallen into or becomes immersed in water.
6. To reduce the risk of injury to persons or property, never use this appliance in an
unstable position.
NOTES ON THE CORD
The short power-supply cord provided should be used in a way that reduces the risk
resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Do not use an extension
cord with this product.
NOTES ON THE PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug will only fit in a polarized outlet one way. If the plug does not fit
fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not modify the plug in any way.
PLASTICIZER WARNING
CAUTION: To prevent plasticizers from migrating from the finish of the counter top or
tabletop or other furniture, place NON-PLASTIC coasters or place mats between the
appliance and the finish of the counter top or tabletop. Failure to do so may cause the
finish to darken; permanent blemishes may occur or stains may appear.
ELECTRIC POWER
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may not operate
properly. It should be operated using a separate electrical circuit from other appliances.

Preparing for Use
1. Unpack the Ice Shaver carefully,
removing all packaging materials.
Check the contents to ensure that
all parts and accessories are present,
and are in good condition.
2. Handle the shaving blade with caution.
WARNING: Do NOT touch blades. Blade
attachments are very sharp. Use extreme
care when handling. Failure to do so
can result in personal injury.
3. Wash the ice shaver bowl carefully. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR IN WATER.
General Operation
1. Fill your regular ice tray with water and place it in the freezer until the ice cubes
are completely frozen. Standard ice cubes work best in the ice shaver.
2. Place the ice shaver bowl on top of the base, align the tabs with the slots and
gently press down until the shaver bowl locks into place. Make sure the dots are
properly aligned. The shaver bowl should not be removed after it is locked into place.
3. When the cubes are completely frozen, remove from the tray and place them into
the ice shaver bowl.
4. Do not fill ice above the MAX Line. If the ice shaver bowl is overfilled, the unit will
not work properly.
5. To use the included paper cone cups, place the cone cup holder into the base
opening and make sure it is properly locked. To use larger bowls, remove the cup
holder and place it on the base of the ice shaver.
6. To remove the cone cup holder, gently lift up the cup holder in one single movement.
Note: Please do not attach the cup holder if you are using a large bowl.
7. Place the shave motor on top of the ice, plug into the electrical outlet and press
and hold down the power button. The unit will start working and it will start
shaving the ice. To stop the unit, just remove hand from the top button.
8. The snow cone maker will switch off automatically once shaving the ice has
been completed.
9. The unit will not work if there is no ice in the ice shaver bowl.
10. Add your favorite syrup and serve.
11. Unplug the unit immediately after use.
User Maintenance
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user-serviceable parts. Any
servicing requiring disassembly other than cleaning must be performed by a qualified
appliance repair technician.
Care and Cleaning
CAUTION: Never immerse the motor base, plug or cord in water or any other liquid.
1. Always unplug the ice shaver before cleaning.
2. Whenever possible, rinse parts immediately after processing to make cleanup
easier. CAUTION: Use extreme care when handling blades. Do not touch the
blades with your fingers. The blades are very sharp and can cause injury if touched.
3. The motor base may be wiped with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry thoroughly.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER.
Storage
1. Unplug and clean unit.
2. Store in original box or in a clean, dry place.
3. Never store ice shaver while it is hot or plugged in.
4. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance. Never place undue stress on the
cord, especially where the cord enters the unit, as this could cause the cord to
fray and/or break.
