Before rst use
Test run
1. Carefully read the safety precautions and check the product for any visible damage.
2. Remove all packaging from the , including any temporary stickers.
3. Place the on a stable, level, heat-resistance surface.
4. Wipe the inside and outside of the with a damp cloth. Dry with a towel.
A test run will help you become familiar with your , make sure it’s working correctly,

Using your
USING THE DEEP FRYER (PRESET PROGRAM)
CAUTION:
• When opening the basket during the program the deep fryer will pause itself.
The deep fryer will continue automatically when the basket is back in place.
• The deep fryer will start to beep 15 seconds after the program has ended.
• Let the deep fryer cool down after the ending/pausing of a program. Do not take the plug out before the
device has cooled down.
1. Put the plug in a suitable outlet.
2. Press to turn on the deep fryer. Hold to turn o the deep fryer.
3. Press to switch between dierent presets.
CAUTION:
• Each preset can be adjusted slightly. These settings will be reset when they are turned o.
• Press while is selected to select manually again.
4. Press to start the program, press again to pause the program.
5. Close the when it is preheating. While the device is preheating you can prepare
your delicious dish.
6. After a few minutes the will to turn o to show that the is ready to be use.
7. Carefully take out the basket and the grate. Use the handle. [FIG. 2]
8. Place the ingredients in the basket.

USING THE DEEP FRYER (MANUAL PROGRAM)
1. Put the plug in a suitable outlet.
2. Press to turn on the deep fryer. Hold to turn o the deep fryer.
3. The manual mode is the default setting of the deep fryer. Press to increase the
temperature, or press to lower the temperature.
4. Press to lengthen the time, or press to shorten the time.
CAUTION: Hold or to change the setting quicker.
5. Press to start the program, press again to pause the program.
6. Close the when it is preheating. While the device is preheating you can prepare
your delicious dish.
7. After a few minutes the will turn of to show that the is ready to use.
8. Carefully take out the basket and the grate. Use the handle. [FIG. 2]
9. Place the ingredients in the basket.
10. Carefully put the basket back in the device. Use the handle. [FIG. 3]

CAUTION:
• Do not ll the basket above the MAX sign and do not go over the amount of food indicated in the table
further down in this manual. This could inuence the quality of the result.
• Make sure to check the needed preparation time and temperature for the dierent ingredients you use
before you start preparing them simultaneously.
• Take in any case into account that the maximal amount for each ingredient is half of the normal amount.

Cooking
Some ingredients might need to be sautéed [FIG. 4] during the deep frying. To sauté the
ingredients you take out the basket with the handle and shake it. Carefully place the basket back
in the device.
1. If you hear a beeping sound, this means that the preparation time has passed. Take the
basket out of the device.
2. Check if the ingredients are done. If this is not the case, place the basket back into the
device and set the timer at a few minutes.
3. Place the device on a heat resistant surface to take the ingredients out of the basket.
4. Depending on the type of ingredient steam might come from the basket.
5. Empty the basket into a bowl or onto a plate. Use tongs to take out big or vulnerable
ingredients. Be careful not to burn yourself.

Tips
• Smaller ingredients generally require a shorter preparation time than bigger ingredients.
• By sautéing ingredients halfway through the cooking process, the results are optimized and unevenly
cooked ingredients are prevented.
• Add some oil to fresh potatoes for a crispy result.
• Do not prepare extremely greasy ingredients such as sausages.
• Only use accessories from JAP Products in combination with this deep fryer to prevent malfunctions.
• The deep fryer can also be used to reheat ingredients. To do this set the temperature at 150°C for 10 minutes.
Taking care of your
CAUTION: Always clean the after each use.
1. Turn o the and pull the plug out of the outlet. Let the device cool down
completely before you clean it. Remove the basket to speed up the cooling process.
2. Wipe the outside of the with a damp cloth.
3. The basket and the grater are dishwasher proof. You can also wash them with hot water
and soap with a non-abrasive sponge. Let it soak if necessary.
CAUTION: Do not use any metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaning supplies to clean the
basket and grater.
4. For stubborn dirt:
a. Mix 30 ml baking soda and 15 ml water in small bowl until a paste forms.
b. Use a sponge to smear and scrub the paste on the removeable part. Let the paste sit
for 15 minutes before you rinse the removable parts.
c. Wash the removable parts with water and soap before you use them.
5. Clean the inside of your with a damp, non-abrasive sponge or cloth. Do not
submerge in water.
6. Use a soft cleaning brush to remove any food residue from the heating element.
Be careful not to damage the heating element.
