Application
To equip an EPA (Electrostatic Protected Area) workplace, it is necessary to place, among other items,
an ESD table mat on the workplace.
These components help to protect static-sensitive components from electrostatic discharge by
dissipating charge from objects placed on their surface. This prevents sensitive components from being
damaged by electrostatic discharges.
Features
The table mat is heat, solder, oil and chemical
resistant.
It comes with an anti-reflective grey surface, a
non-slipping bottom-side and rounded corners.
Each tabel mat is equipped with two ø10mm
press studs. One of them should be connected
to an earthing connection or a grounded
common point and the other one to the
wrist band of the person who works at this
workplace.

JBC’s ESD table mat can be connected to other ESD components as shown in the picture below.
The following matching accessories are sold separately: An ESD spiral earthing cable, an ESD
earthing cable and an ESD earthing wristband and an ESD earting plug.

Warranty
JBC’s 2 year warranty covers this equipment against
all manufacturing defects, including the replacement
of defective parts and labour.
Warranty does not cover product wear or misuse.
In order for the warranty to be valid, equipment must
be returned, postage paid, to the dealer where it was
purchased.
