Architectural
Specifications
The
mixershallbea solid-stateunitcapableof
combiningsixmicrophoneandtwolinelevelinputs,or
five
microphone,twolinelevelandonepairofphono
inputsandshallbecapableofdelivering+18dBmwith
less
than0.2%THD.Itshallhavea frequencyresponse
of20Hz- 20
kHz,
±1
dB(unbalancedinput),35Hz- 20kHz,
+1dB,-2dB(balancedinput),at+18dBmor
less.
Each
ofthesixmicrophoneinputsshallaccommodate
an
unbalancedhighimpedancemicrophoneora
balanced
lowimpedancemicrophone.Themicrophone
inputcircuitsshallbeequippedwith9-pinsocketsfor
mountingoptionalplug-intransformerstopermittheuse
oflowimpedancemicrophones.Three-pinfemale
XL-type
socketswithpositivelatchlocking
devices
shall
be
providedforthemicrophone
channels.
Each
microphoneinputshallbeequippedwithaninputpad
switch
onthe
front
panel,selectablefrom0,15,or
30
dBattenuation.
The
twolinelevelinputsshallaccommodatean
unbalanced
highimpedanceinput,ora balancedhigh
orlowimpedanceinput.Thelinelevelinputsshallbe
equippedwith 9-pinsocketsformountingoptional
plug-intransformers.A five
screw
terminalboardshall
be
providedforconnecting
each
lineinput.
One
microphoneinputshallalternatively
accommodate
a magneticphonographcartridgeinput.
A
dual
RCA-type
phonojackshallbeprovidedtoallow
programinputfroma stereosource.
The
mixershallhaveindividuallowandhigh
frequency
tonecontrols.Thelowfrequencycontrolshall
affect
output
below500Hz(+3dBreferencepoint)
and
thehighfrequencycontrolshallaffectthe
output
above
2.5kHz(+3dBreferencepoint).
A

thefacepaneltoallowheadsetmonitoringor
connectiontoanauxiliaryamplifier.Themonitor

pin#3(XL-typeconnector),theblackconductorto
pin#2andtheshieldtopin#1.
