CONGRATULATIONS!
You have just purchased a JS-BT line product. These are products
that combine practicality and sound power and quality. This is a family of
amplied speakers designed by JBL.
The JS-BT loudspeakers line targets musicians, bars owners, small
churches and religious services in a unique way, when they need a powered
good performer and technically resourceful equipment. Having a unique
design in the plastic speakers segment, JBL has developed a versatile and
high quality product, providing optimum cost-effectiveness.
A great innovation in these speakers segment is the presence of
Bluetooth Technology, besides USB and SD port, designed exclusively
to play audio in the MP3 format. Another great innovation is that the MP3
Player includes «folder search», enabling to access the les in different
folders.
Reading this manual you will nd all the necessary information to get the
best results from this product installation and usage.

USAGE
In order to use your JS-BT line amplied speakers safely and get the best
performance, it is important to observe the following guidelines:
CAUTION
When opening the package, make sure everything is in accordance. Report
to your dealer or the transportation company if there is any irregularity in
the equipment, once all the JBL line products are tested and inspected by
rigid quality standards.

HOW TO USE JS-10BT:
The JS-10BT speaker has a cabinet designed
to facilitate its usage, which can be done in
two ways:
FLY MODE:
The JS-BT line speaker cabinet has two FLY
xation modes: one on top and the other one
on the side, providing a better usage of the
system and convenient installation.
WARNING:
Make sure the cables and fasteners support
the box weight.
Whenever possible, install the JS-BT line
speakers, when lifted, on places where there
are no people moving around.

WITH A PEDESTAL STAND:
When using with a pedestal stand, make
sure you position the unit on a level place.
After adjusting the height, make sure there
are no risks of tip-over.
RECOMMENDATIONS
- Keep this manual for future reference;
- Also keep this product packaging because you should avoid transportation
without it;
- This product's handle was designed for lifting small heights from the oor,
in order to help the speaker transportation. This handle should not be used
in an overhead system installation (Fly);
- Before connecting your speaker, make sure the voltage selector switch is
in accordance with the local mains lead (127 or 220 Vac);
- Use good quality cables and connectors to perform this product
installation;
- Always connect and disconnect the power supply cord from the wall
socket by its plug, never by the cord itself;
- When cleaning the equipment, do not use solvents as alcohol or thinner.
Prefer a soft and dry cloth; - Be careful not to spill liquids onto the
equipment. Do not operate the equipment exposed to rain;
- Do not disassemble the equipment, otherwise you may expose yourself to
hazards and the product warranty may become invalid;
- According to standards, we warn that the prolonged exposure to noise
above 85dB may cause damage to auditory system (see
Appendix 1 in this manual for further details).

HOW TO USE JS-8BT:
The JS-8BT speaker has a cabinet designed
to make its usage easier, which can be done
in two ways:
OVER A LEVEL SURFACE:
the JS-8BT speaker cabinet has plastic feet
on its base, which provide an easy usage on
level surfaces. During this installation you
must not use the metallic handle that comes
with the product.
ATTACHED ON VERTICAL SURFACES:
the JS-8BT box cabinet has fastening points
on top and bottom for the metallic handle.
This metallic handle that comes with the
product is appropriated for installations on
vertical surfaces (walls).
IMPORTANT!
It is very important, in this type of installation, to always make sure that
the surface, bushes and bolts support the speaker weight.

AMPLIFIER FUNCTIONS
1 - INPUT AC:equipment power supply input and fuse port (3.15A);
2 - HH SELECTOR: 127V or 220V selector switch;
3 - ON/OFF SWITCH: it turns the equipment on when in position 'I' or off
when in position '0';
4 - LINE OUT - connector with SPLIT function, allowing connection of two
or more JS-BT boxes active among themselves;
IMPORTANT: 'this input is located post pre-amplication in the circuit.
When a box is turned off, the remaining boxes connected to it will not
output audio.'
The connection cable between the boxes must be type XLR 'Male'/XLR
'Female'

5 - MIC IN - input connector for microphone type P10 (1/4" TRS) or XLR.
This input has a 20 dB gain regarding the line input (LINE IN);

7 - MP3 PLAYER UNIT CONTROLS - exclusive controls for the MP3
Player unit;
8 - SD CARD - SD audio input, compatible with MP3 les;
9 - DYMANIC LCD DISPLAY - with le and folder control;
10 - USB - USB audio input, compatible with MP3 les;
11 - MIC GAIN CONTROL - used for adjusting the microphone signal input
gain;
12 - LINE GAIN CONTROL - used for adjusting the line signal input gain;
13 - VOLUME CONTROL - used for adjusting the system general gain;
14 - TREBLE CONTROL - it is part of the equalizer and its function is to adjust
the high frequencies
15 - BASS CONTROL - it is part of the equalizer and its function is to adjust
the low frequencies;
16 - LED INDICATORS:
GREEN LED: when it ashes, it shows that the amplier is on.
RED LED: it shows that the amplier is saturating the audio signal. When
this happens, the volume or the equipment gain must be reduced.
