Safety: Site safety is a high priority when using all Jeneer equipment. Please use proper precautions when using our equipment and
wear proper safety gear.
Receiving Inspection: The Jeneer shipping box contains the Auto Bump Nema IV module and solar panel and installation kit if
ordered. If the shipping box is compromised please be sure to note when receiving.
The Auto Bump NEMV IV Module:
Led On –Push to advance LED screens
Pump on –Push for a manual Auto Bump
DB-9 serial port
On/Off switch
Regulator –pull up to adjust pressure
Air In

Operation
Connect air supply to “air in” on underside of the NEMA IV module
The Jeneer Auto Bump is designed to restart stalled mechanical style pumps extending run time between service. The user selects
the time that if the pump does not cycle or sits idle the system will do an Auto Bump and restart the stalled pump. The system
integrates an accurate LED cycle counter and the NEMA IV module houses the filter protecting it from the elements.
Connect the air supply to the Air In on the underside of the NEMA IV module
Connect the air out on the underside of the module to the air supply line to the pump
Turn on the air supply to the module –Note the air pressure may have to be lowered until counter records every count based on air
pressure differential
LED Screen Displays
1- The number of cycles
2- The gallons pumped - the volume can be changed based on the specific pump being used
3- The number of auto bump attempts - this can be reset to zero by holding LED ON button for 7 seconds
4- The number of cycles after every auto bump
Once the “maxidle” is activated the air supply will be turned off to the pump for 60 seconds allowing the pump to reset. After the 60
seconds the air pressure is reapplied to the pump and the pump will restart. For instance if the “maxidle” is set for 2 hours if the
pump has not recorded a cycle count and Auto Bump will occur The #4 screen is a trouble shooting tool. If you see 0 cycles after the
Auto Bump this is an indication that the pump may need to be removed and serviced
Push the pump on button to initiate a manual Auto Bump
To reset the cycle counts hold the LED on button for 7 seconds
Warring!!!: Be sure to close and lock the panel door to prevent moisture from entering the module. Avoid leachate contact to
the inside of the module. Leachate in the air line will cause damage to all internal components. Failure to take these precautions can
void any warranty on the module and components.
System Operating requirements Andriod 6.0 or newerer

Operation
Connect air supply to “air in” on underside of the NEMA IV module
The Jeneer APP allows you to collect module data by using an Android device. Simply walk to the well and launch your WIFI network
an it will identify the active wells within range. Click on the well you want to sample and the data will be transferred to device. Once
the well is sampled the icon will turn red indicating the data has been collected. All the data can be downloaded to an Excel or CVS
file.
The Jeneer APP will allow you to change the “maxidle” setting. The “maxidle” is the amount of time that if the pump does not cycle a
Auto Bump will occur. Tap on “maxidle” and enter the amount of time you want to allow the pump to sit idle and this will change the
time.
Auto Bump time intervals can also be changed by using a Ucon terminal server and using a USB to DB9 pin connector. Launch Ucon
and connect the laptop to serial port in the module. Type in maxidle - space then type in the time and enter. Example maxidle 2:00:00
- this will set the maxidle to 2 hours.
Set volume –type in vconst .38 –this will calculate .38 gallons per cycle
Change air off time in seconds –purge 50 –air will be turned off for 50 seconds
Installing the Auto Bump
The Auto Bump module includes hose clamps that allow you to attach the module to the well casing. The solar panel includes a hose
clamp so it can be attached to the well casing. Note –The solar panel must be positioned facing South and West.
The system can also be installed using the Jeneer installation kit for added flexibility.

Pre-Assembly Installation Kit
Installation Kit: Includes 32” 1 ¼” pole, 2 ea 1 ¼” strut clamps, 2 ea Quick Release hose clamp , 2 ea strut channel and 3 ea 1 ½”
U-bolt clamps –note these may already be attached to the module and solar panel. .
Module Pre-Assembly –To expedite field installation the installation kit can
be assembled prior to going to the well. Slide the pole through the U-Bolt clamps
already attached to the module. Tighten using a ½ ‘ wrench or nut driver

1.5” U-Bolts

Pre Assembly Installation Kit
Solar Panel: Slide solar panel on pole and loosely tighten. You may want to adjust this
One the module is attached to the well. The solar panel can be installed above or below
the module. The solar panel should face South and West.
Strut channel –Attach the strut clamps around the pole and slide the strut channel
through the end of the clamps and tighten using a 5/16 nut driver. Attach one set near
the bottom of the module and the other towards the bottom of the pole.
