WARNINGS
Jigabot devices are precision elec-
tronic devices, and are inheretly
dangerous. Use are your own risk!
Jigabot devices are intended to be
used only in ways dened within
Jigabot User Documentation, by
trained professionals. They should
not be operated by others, or used
where others might get too close.
Besides previously disclosed warn-
ings, common sense saftey is re-
quired, including the following:
Liquids. Jigabot devices are not
intended to get wet. Water or other
liquids will short-circuit the electron-
ics, and cause failure.
Looking. Never look into an IR Emit-
ter; eye damage could occur. Do
not block IR Sensor module. Without
direct line of site the Jigabot will not
track.
Clothing. Attachment of the IR Emit-
ter by its spring clip to more fragile
cloth or clothing can damage the
clothing.
Falling & Bumping. An Emitter &
Power device are both made of alu-
minum and very hard. Do not attach
where your body could be injured
in the event of falling or bumping
into another object.

Heat. Jigabot devices are sensitive to
heat, and can be damaged or mal-
function if they overheat. Keep the
aluminum side of the Control Box from
getting too hot, or from operating in
direct sunlight for extended periods of
time.
Cables. Never hold a Jigabot device by
any cable (including its Sensor Cable)!
Also, do no leave cables unattended,
or use cables in ways that can cause
choking or other physical injury.
Filters. Jigabot devices use glass lters
which are fragile and if broken could
cause bodily injury.
Batteries. The IR Power module con-
tains Li-Ion batteries. Do not expose
them to extremes of heat (120 F) or
cold (32 F).
Charging. Jigabot 5 devices should
only be charged using the included
Li-ion desktop charger: 100-240VAC,
50/60Hz. Output DC: 12.6V, 2.0A. IR
Power packs should only be charged
with supplied USB chargers.
Pinching. All Jigabot devices are mo-
tor-powered robots which can pinch or
even crush ngers or hands. Do not put
hands near Jigabot devices when they
are powered ON.
LIMITED WARRANTY
Jigabot warranties its devices against faulty
parts and workmanship for a period of 1 year.
Improper use of devices, including not using
Jigabot devices according to all User Docu-
mentation, will void your warranty. Judgment of
original quality of parts and workmanship, and
of cause of failure, is solely Jigabot’s. This war-
ranty is subject to change at any time without
notice.
