How to use the OZ
Location: Place the unit on a solid surface or locate on a wall or ceiling using the locating
holes on the unit base. Place, preferably, at high level.
Power connection: Connect to a suitable 230V supply
Operation: Switch on the units using switch (C) and indicator (B)
Function
The OZ1000/2000 uses UV-C and Ozone technology to sterilise and de-odorise the air within the area it is being
used. The special Jimco lamp/s produces UV light at a certain wavelength that has a sterilising effect whilst also
creating a small amount of Ozone that will eliminate odour from the air and on the surfaces within the room. Bacteria
and Vira will be greatly reduced. The OZ1000/2000 will treat fabrics as well as air.
WARNING!!! The OZ1000/2000 produces more than the permissible level of Ozone for room occupation during
treatment. The unit should be switched on and left in the treatment area for the required length of time, depending
on level of pollution, it should then be switched off and left for approximately 30 minutes before re occupying
permanently. Ozone will naturally turn back to Oxygen after a short time and the only other by products of the unit
are Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and Water, but these are in such small amounts they can hardly be measured.
Treatment Time:
Treatment times will vary according to size of room and level of pollution. Consult your supplier for help.
Lifetime of the lamps
The normal life for the lamp/s is 8,000 operating hours, this equates to 24 hours a day for one year. If the efficiency
appears to reduce before the 8,000 hours, you may need to clean the lamp/s.(see instructions below).
To replace the lamp
•Switch off and unplug the unit from the socket
•Remove to top from the unit via 4 No screws (D)
•Unplug the lamp from the lamp socket
•Remove old lamp/s from clips (H) and replace with new lamp
•Replace lamp/s socket securely and replace the top of the unit
•The OZ1000/2000 is now ready to operate
Cleaning (recommended every three months if using continuously)
•Switch off and unplug the unit from the socket
•Remove to top from the unit via 4 No screws (D)
•Wipe the outside of the lamp/s and the fan with a clean damp cloth with a little detergent
•Dry carefully with a soft dry cloth
•Replace top of unit

Warranty Regulations
On the OZ's series, JIMCO A/S provides 24-month warranty. Guarantee periods is 12 months. The warranty is calculated
from the date of sale from your JIMCO dealer. To provide this, a receipt must be kept. Within the stated warranty period,
JIMCO A/S will cover, without charge, every defect that are subject to material or manufacturing defects and, at your option,
provides warranty repair or replacement of the OZ products
Prerequisite for the guarantee benefit is that the appliance is used according to its purpose and in accordance with the
operating instructions.
Excluded from the warranty are damages caused by improper use, wear or interference on the part of the owner or third
parties. The warranty does not cover consumables – For example lamps – Or wear objects as a fan and lacking which only
negatively affect the value or usefulness of the OZ Products
