•Hot automotive fluids can burn and injure eyes and body.
•Opening a hot system can cause these fluids to forcibly spray in all directions.
•Use motor oil is flammable. Keep away from flames, sparks, and other sources of ignition.
•DO NOT exceed 10 PSI (0.7 bar) supply pressure.
•Wear proper safety equipment and clothing, and safety glasses/goggles.

Position the drain under the anticipated fluid stream and adjust as necessary until all fluids are
collected.
Be aware of natural wind, fans or other factors that may alter the fluid stream and cause injury or
contamination of the surroundings.
•Monitor fluid level in drain. DO NOT overfill.
•Closely monitor the flow out of the discharge hose to prevent spills when evacuating fluid from
the drain.
•Drain should be in good condition with no visible leaks. Repair leaks and clean up spills and
properly dispose of waste material.
•Close all valves when not filling or emptying the drain.
U.S. ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATIONS
Certain automotive fluids are considered to be compatible for recycling used oil per the US
Environmental Agency (EPA). Do not mix other types of fluid with used motor oil. You must handle
other types of fluid separately. See definitions below:

• Transmission Oil
• Brake Fluid
• Hydraulic Oil
Cutting/Metal Oils
Used Oil Does Not Include:
• Antifreeze
• Gasoline
• Kerosene
• Petroleum Distillates and Solvents
• Vegetable or Animal Oils

CONTENTS
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove drain body from carton.
2. Attach the two rear wheels [6] to the axle
using the bolts and washers provided.
3. Attach the two front casters [5] using the
bolts and washers provided.
4. Thread the drain tube [4] into the top of
the drum.
5. Thread funnel [2] into the top of the drain
tube [4].
6. Thread the 3/4” bushing [8] and drain
valve [9] into the coupler on the bottom
front of the drain (Figure 1).
NOTE: Do not over-tighten the 3/4” bushing
when threading into the drain coupler.

GETTING STARTED
Before assembly, ensure you have all parts according to the contents list below. If any parts are
missing or damaged, contact us for replacement.

OPERATION - “POP-UP” DIPSTICK
A “pop-up” dipstick prevents overfilling of the oil drain. When the fluid level reaches the
maximum usable level, the dipstick will pop up to indicate the drain needs emptying.
To drain fluid from the vehicle:
With the drain valve is closed, position the drain under the vehicle and raise the funnel to
desired height.
Two Methods To empty
1. Gravity Drain: Put the drain over the in-ground storage tank or storage vessel and open
the drain valve.
2. Suction Pump: Insert the suction hose from the fluid evacuation system in the 2” port on
top of the drain or install a male coupler (compatible with your system) to drain valve and
attach the suction hose using a female quick coupler.
