ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Attach Lower Assembly (A) to the
Upper Assembly (B) utilizing 4 of the
¼”-20 Lock Nuts (D). Note the
orientation of the tray support
connecting flange.
2. Rotate carry handle on the Lower
Assembly (A) into position so that holes
align, and secure with two ¼”-20 bolts
(E) and ¼”-20 lock nuts (D).
3. Swivel handle from collapsed
position up into operational
position and secure with the
Wire Lock Clevis Pin, which is
attached to the frame. Reverse
this step for storage.
4. The metal closing sweeps are mounted
in reverse to protect them during shipping.
Remove both nuts, flip the sweeps over, and
replace the nuts. Sweep should bend
downward.

OPERATION & USE:
1. Adjust handle height with the upper
spring pin.
2. Adjust wheel height (plow soil engagement) with
the lower spring pin.
3. Adjust wheel width by removing the
hairpin cotter and sliding the wheel
either in or out depending on your needs.
4. The closing sweeps can be bent to
fine-tune the placement of the soil as
well as the amount of soil moved.

6. Slide the Scooping Tool (C)
underneath the first few rows of
paper chain pots in the tray and
gently lift, creating room for the
transition ramp.
Fold the transition ramp down
and under the paper chain pots
so that the first few rows rest on
top of it.
5. Prior to planting, paper chain
pots should be moist but not
over-saturated. Over-saturation
can cause tearing. Place tray in
tray support frame.
7. Position the transplanter
at beginning of bed row and pull
forward, roughly 15 inches, to
create a starter furrow.
Remove the paper end of the
chain and discard.
Pull the leading edge of the chain
and feed it through the channel
between the wheels.
Bury the end of the chain or affix the first paperpot to the ground with a
landscape fabric staple to hold in place. Pull the transplanter forward,
gently at first, so as not to tear or uproot the paper chains.
