First startup
To start the unit, press and hold power button for 3 seconds. On first startup of a JLT
unit with a JLT OS image preloaded, Android setup will start. Do not shut down the
unit until the setup is completed, otherwise the image may be corrupt. If the system
already has been corrupted, a disk restore can be made from a JLT OS image,
contact your local JLT sales representative for more information.
Note: If your unit is provided with a specific customer image, this step may be skipped.
Touch screen, PCT option
The VM3010A is equipped with a Projected Capacitive Touch screen, also called
PCT or PCAP. The touch screen is calibrated from factory and needs no further
calibration. It’s normally operated with fingers and may also be used with purpose-
designed stylus for PCT or PCAP. A stylus designed for resistive touch screens will
not work.
