Charging
To charge the DSLR Power battery, just connect the
included quick charger to the battery via the battery’s
DC input. The charger’s LED light will glow red to indi
-
cate that the battery is charging. The charger light will
glow orange when the battery reaches 80% charge
and green when the battery is fully charged. From full
discharge, the Juicebox battery will reach full charge
in approximately 7-8 hours.
Because the Juicebox battery is equipped with over
-
charge protection, it is okay to leave your DSLR Power
battery connected to the charger when not in use.
This will ensure that the battery remains charged even
when inactive for extended periods of time.
The DSLR Power battery can also be charged with any
DC charger that outputs 7-9V and has a DC connec
-
tion that is center positive and is 5.5 x 2.1mm in size.
This is a standard, highly common size for DC connec
-
tions.
setup
The included quick release mount can be attached
to a camera or any accessory with a standard 1/4-20
insert, present on virtually all camera cages and most
other camera mounting accessories. For best results,
we recommend the use of an adjustable camera
clamp, which can be easily attached to rail rods, tri-

The internal cells of the DSLR Power battery are rated
for 500+ charge/discharge cycles. However, the inter-
nal battery cells can be easily removed and replaced.
These internal Juicebox cells should be replaced with
18650, 2400mAh li-ion cells.
To replace the DSLR Power battery’s internal cells,
unscrew and remove the battery’s bottom end cap.
When installing new li-ion cells, BE SURE to place the
cells in the battery case in the proper polarity. Insert
two cells negative-end-first against the battery’s in-
ternal spring contacts and two cells positive-end-first
against the battery’s internal flat contacts. When re-
placing the end cap, place the spring contacts against
the two cells with negative ends exposed.
Lil’ dummy power couplers are fully decoded, mean-
ing that they can communicate with compatible
cameras. When the DSLR Power battery is connected
to a compatible camera, the charge level of the DSLR
Power battery is displayed on your camera screen,
just as if you were using an internal camera battery:
To use the USB output, connect a USB device and
double click the black button at the top of the bat-
tery. This will power on the USB port and LED light.

pods, monopods, etc. However, there are many types
of mounting accessories that can be used with this
quick release mount, including 15mm rail clamps, 1/4-
20 cold shoe mounts and even 1/4-20 clips that allow
the battery to be worn on your person.
USE
The DSLR Power battery can be used with a Juicebox
Lil’ Dummy power coupler to connect to compatible
DSLR cameras. The inlcuded AC adapter can also be
used with a Lil’ Dummy power coupler to power your
DSLR camera from a wall outlet. Lil’ Dummy power
couplers include a female-to-female DC adapter that
is necessary for the connection.
