Safety Warnings
• Do not install the monitor on a ceiling or
an inclined wall.
• Only use the screws supplied with the
wall mount bracket when attaching the
monitor to the bracket. See your monitor
instructions for screw type.
• Tighten the wall mount screw rmly to
prevent the monitor from falling. Do not
over tighten the screws.
• If you are in any doubt how to mount
your monitor, contact a professional.
Temperature
• Avoid extreme degrees of temperature,
either hot or cold. Place the unit well
away from heat sources such as radiators
or gas / electric res.
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and
other sources of heat.
Naked Flames
• Never place any type of candle or naked
ame on the top of or near the unit.
Moisture
• To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or
product damage, do not expose this unit
to rain, moisture, dripping or splashing.
No objects lled with liquids, such as
vases, should be placed on the unit.
• If you spill any liquid into the unit, it can
cause serious damage. Switch it o at the
mains immediately. Withdraw the mains
plug and consult your dealer.
Ventilation
• To prevent the risk of electric shock or
re hazard due to overheating, ensure
that curtains and other materials do not
obstruct the ventilation vents.
• A minimum distance of 5 cm around the
unit should be maintained to allow for
sucient ventilation.
• Do not install or place this unit in a
bookcase, built-in cabinet or in another
conned space. Ensure the unit is well
ventilated.
Safety
• Always disconnect the unit from the
mains supply before connecting /
disconnecting other devices or moving
the unit.
• Unplug the unit from the mains socket
during a lightning storm and long
inactivity periods (going on holiday).
• Read all the instructions carefully before
using the unit and keep them for future
reference.
• Retain the manual. If you pass the unit
onto a third party make sure to include
this manual.
• Check that the voltage marked on the
rating label matches your mains voltage.
• WARNING: Never let people (including
children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and / or knowledge use
electrical devices unsupervised.
• To avoid danger of suocation, keep
plastic bags out of reach of babies,
children and domestic animals.
• Carefully attach the stand to the monitor.
If the stand is provided with screws,
tighten the screws rmly to prevent the
Monitor from tilting. Do not over tighten
the screws and mount the stand rubbers
properly.
Damage
• Please inspect the unit for damage after
unpacking.
• Do not continue to operate the unit if
you are in any doubt about it working
normally, or if it is damaged in any way -
switch o, withdraw the mains plug and
consult your dealer.
Location of Unit
• The unit must be placed on a at stable
surface and should not be subjected to
vibrations.
• Do not place the unit on sloped or
unstable surfaces as the unit may fall o
or tip over.
• The mains socket must be located near
the unit and should be easily accessible.
• This unit is designed for indoor, domestic
use only.
• Use this monitor set at an altitude of less
than 2000 meters above sea level, in dry
locations and in regions with moderate or
tropical climates.
Wall Mounting
• Read the monitor and wall mount
instructions before mounting your
monitor on the wall.
• The wall mount bracket is not supplied,
they can be purchased from your dealer.

• In the interests of safety and to avoid
unnecessary energy consumption,
never leave the unit switched on while
unattended for long periods of time, e.g.
overnight, while on holiday or while out
of the house. Switch it o and disconnect
the mains plug from the mains socket.
Mains Adapter Cable
• Make sure the unit or unit stand is not
resting on top of the mains cable, as the
weight of the unit may damage the mains
cable and create a safety hazard.
• A damaged power cord/plug can cause
re or give you an electric shock. Handle
the power cord by the plug, do not
unplug the monitor by pulling the power
cord.
• Never touch the power cord/plug with
wet hands as this could cause a short
circuit or electric shock.
• Never make a knot in the power cord or
tie it with other cords.
• If the mains cable is damaged it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent, or similarly qualied persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
• The mains adapter will continue to
draw electricity from the mains supply
when plugged in the mains socket.
In the interests of safety and to avoid
unnecessary energy consumption, never
leave the adapter plugged in the mains
socket while unattended for long periods
of time. Disconnect the adapter from the
power supply.
Use only power supplies listed in the
user instructions.
Interference
• Do not place the unit on or near
appliances which may cause
electromagnetic interference. If you do,
it may adversely aect the operating
performance of the unit, and cause a
distorted picture or sound.
Optimum viewing
• View the unit in moderate light to
prevent eye strain. It is recommended to
watch the unit from a distance
3-7 times that of the screen height.
LCD screen
• The LCD screen is manufactured using
high-precision technology. However,
some tiny black points and / or bright
points (red, blue or green in colour) may
constantly appear on the LCD screen.
These points are generated in the
manufacturing process and are normal.
Screen Burn
• A characteristic of Plasma and Monitor
Panels is that displaying the same image
for a long time may cause a permanent
after-image to remain on the screen.
This is called screen burn. Most pictures
shown on the unit will be constantly
moving and ll the screen.
• To prevent screen burn if viewing any
of the above for long periods of time,
reduce contrast and brightness when
viewing. Once burn-in occurs it will never
disappear completely.
Standby
• The button on the unit does not
switch o the unit completely. The unit
will continue to draw electricity from
the mains supply while in standby.
In the interests of safety and to avoid
unnecessary energy consumption,
never leave the unit in standby while
unattended for long periods of time, e.g.
overnight, while on holiday or while out
of the house. Disconnect the mains plug
from the mains socket.
Supervision
• Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the unit.
• Never let anyone especially children push
anything into the holes, slots or any other
openings in the case - this could result in
a fatal electric shock.
Earthing
• Apparatus connected to the protective
earthing of the building installation
through the MAINS connection or
through other apparatus with a
connection to protective earthing - and
to a monitor distribution system using
coaxial cable, may in some circumstances
create a re hazard. Connection to a
monitor distribution system has therefore
to be provided through a device
providing electrical isolation below a
certain frequency range (galvanic isolator,
see EN 60728-11).

Service
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do
not remove screws. The unit does not
contain any user-serviceable parts. Please
leave all maintenance work to qualied
personnel.
• Do not open any xed covers as this may
expose dangerous voltages.
Maintenance
• Ensure to unplug the unit from the mains
socket before cleaning.
• Do not use any type of abrasive pad or
abrasive cleaning solutions as these may
damage the unit’s surface.
• Do not use liquids to clean the unit.
• The wall socket plug is used as a
disconnect device, the disconnect device
should be readily accessible.
• This equipment is a Class II
or double insulated electrical
appliance. It has been designed in
such a way that it does not require
a safety connection to electrical
earth.

Unpacking
Remove all items from the packaging. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it please
do so according to local regulations.

in order that you fully understand all the operational features it oers. You
will also nd some hints and tips to help you resolve any issues.
Read all the safety instructions carefully before use and keep this
instruction manual for future reference.

Installing / Removing the Base Stand
The LCD display is very fragile, and must be protected at all times when installing and removing the
base stand. Be sure that no hard or sharp object, or anything that could scratch or damage the LCD
display, comes into contact with it. DO NOT exert pressure on the front of the monitor at any time
because the screen could crack.
Disconnect all cables connected to the monitor.
Lay the monitor down on a at surface with the back side facing up, and ideally at the
edge of a table so that the base of the monitor slightly overhangs on it. Please make
sure a soft cushioned material (such as a towel or thick piece of foam) is placed beneath
the screen. Leave the protective bag on your monitor until you have fully attached the
monitor stand.
Assembling the Stand Base
1. Slide the stand neck to the monitor stand slot.

Remove the stand assembly before mounting the monitor onto the wall.
Mounting the Monitor
This monitor is designed to be wall-mounted with a standard mounting kit (sold
separately) designed for at-panel monitors. Mount this monitor according to the
instructions included in the mounting kit. Due to space restrictions, we recommend that
you make all connections before mounting on to the wall.

Detaching the Stand Base
To remove the stand assembly, lay the monitor on a at surface with a cushioned
material between the monitor and the surface, to prevent damage. Slide to remove the
stand assembly.

Connection
1. Insert the desired cable into the matching connector on your computer.

2. Connect the power cord from the monitor DC power supply to a mains socket.

3. Press the button to turn on the monitor. The LED light at the side of monitor will
light up. If there’s no signal received after few seconds, a pop up message will be
displayed and the LED light will ash.
If you are using an Apple® computer, an
Apple® adapter is required. The adapter can be
purchased at an Apple® store.
Connect the input signal cable and tighten it
by turning the screws clockwise. To prevent
disconnection secure the cable rmly, do not
over tighten.

Adjusting the Angle
1. Place the monitor in an upright position, mounted
on the stand base.
2. Adjust the angle of the screen. The angle of the
screen can be adjusted forwards or backwards from
-5° to 15° for a comfortable viewing experience.

• When you adjust the angle, do not hold the bottom of the monitor set frame as shown, it may
injure your ngers.
• Be careful do not touch or press the screen area when adjusting the angle of the monitor.

Basic Operating
Monitor Controls
1. Press the desired button at the rear of the monitor.
2. Press the buttons to change the value of the menu
then press the Ebutton to conrm the selection.
3. To return to the upper menu or exit the OSD menu, press
the Mbutton.

M• Display the OSD menu.
• Return to the upper menu or exit the
OSD menu.
E• Access the main menus.
• Executed the “Auto Adjust Image.”
function automatically.
• Navigate the OSD menus.
• Increase the bar value as the right
function selection key.
• Direct go to situational mode.
• Navigate the OSD menus.
• Decrease the bar value as the left
function selection key.
Switch the monitor on or o.
Eco Friendly / Auto Standby Function
The unit features an ECO-Power / Standby mode. If the monitor does not receive an
input signal for serveral seconds, it will automatically switch the monitor into standby
mode. The LED light at the side of monitor will keep ashing. Once have input signal
come in, the monitor will automatically switch on.
If the monitor is left on and idle for 4 hours, it will automatically switch to o mode.
The LED light will go out. Press the button at the rear of the monitor to turn on your
monitor.
A reminder screen will pop up and count down before the switches to standby mode or
o mode.

• Always disconnect the monitor from the mains socket when not in use for a long period of time.
• The button at the rear of the monitor is only used for switching the monitor into standby, it
does not disconnect the monitor from the mains power. To completely disconnect the mains
power, please remove the mains plug from the mains socket.

Auto Adjust Image
This function provides the user with optimal display settings.
• When the user connects the monitor for the rst time, this function automatically
adjusts the display to optimal settings for individual input signals.
• When you encounter problems such as blurry screen, blurred letters, screen icker
or tilted screen while using the device or after changing screen resolution, press the
Ebutton to improve resolution.

Press the Mbutton to display the OSD main menu.

1. Press the buttons to navigate the OSD menus or adjust the system settings to
your preference. Finally press the Ebutton to conrm.
2. If you want to exit the menus, select from the menu or press the Mbutton to
return to the upper menu. Or select from the menu to leaving the main menu.
Each option is described below.
Function Description
Increases or decreases the amount of white in the picture.
Adjusts the dierence between light and dark levels in the picture.
Select ON or OFF to enable or disable a DCR (Dynamic Contrast Ratio).
Dynamic Contrast Ratio also called contrast ratio. With a wider range
between black and white. A monitor is capable of deeper, richer colours
with more visible details in shadows and highlight. When DCR turns
ON, you will get a better contrast.
When DCR is set to ON, setting of brightness and contrast will disable.
Select among picture mode: Standard / Movie / FPS (First-person
shotter game) / RTS (Real-time strategy game) / Eye Saver.
Eye Saver is optimized your viewing comfort by smartly reducing blue
light emissions.
Select among colour temperature: Cool / Warm / User.
Adjusts the colour components independently to achieve a warm or
cool colour. (for User mode)
R: Adjust red color temperature
G:Adjust green color temperature
B: Adjust blue color temperature

Allows you to watch the screen in various picture formats: Auto / 16:9
/ 4:3.
Select the input source: VGA / HDMI.
Auto Adjust
Automatically adjust the horizontal / vertical location,
focusing and clock of pictures. (VGA signal only)
Auto Colour
Adjust the white balance of picture. (VGA signal only)
Gamma
When using the Gamma 1, and Gamma 2 monitor
settings, higher gamma settings mean a brighter image
is displayed and vice versa.
Clock
To obtain the correct width of the input signal by
adjusting the frequency. Used to minimize
the vertical bars that appear because of an incorrect
width. (VGA signals only)
Phase
Used to optimize screen performance by adjusting the
phase. (VGA signals only)
Language
Allows you to select your desired on screen menu
language. The default is English.
Power O
Select ON if there's no singal input, the unit will
automatically switch from standby mode to o mode
after 1 minute. The LED light also stop ashing. The
default is O.
Timer O
The unit will automatically switch to standby mode 4
hours after the last time was used. A reminder screen
will pop up and count down before the unit switches to
standby mode. The default is On.
Reset
Select YES to restores the default factory settings.
Select NO to cancels the reset.
OD (Overdrive)
Select ON / OFF to activate overdrive function (this
needs the support of the monitor).
Without overdrive, the monitor are prone to ghosting.
Ghosting is typically caused by the asymmetric speeds of
pixel transitions.

Cleaning the Unit
Hints and Tips
The following table contains various hints and tips to get the best performance from
your monitor. If you require additional assistance:

Problem Solution
No image on screen • Check if the power button has been switched on.
• Verify the brightness and contrast of the monitor is
within the normal setting.
• Check if the power indicator is turns on. If so, this
indicates that the monitor is not recieving the input
signal.
• If the signal indicator is a notebook or laptop, make
sure that the signal has been switched to screen mode.
• Make sure that the computer is turned on and is not
sleeping.
• Make sure that the correct input is selected.
Out of Focus • Check if the image signal cable is inserted properly.
Ensure the unit is fully unplugged from the mains socket before cleaning.
• Use a soft dry cloth to wipe away the
dust from the screen and surfaces.
• If the surfaces are extremely dirty, clean
the monitor with a cloth which has
been dipped in a slightly soapy water.
Wring the cloth until it is almost dry,
then use it to wipe the monitor.
• Ensure there is no excess water on the
screen. Allow any water or dampness to
evaporate before switching the monitor
on.
Never use alcohol, benzine, paint-thinner, cleaning uid or other chemicals.
Do not use compressed air to remove dust.

Flashing Screen • The power is insucient to connect the monitor or is
too weak.
• To avoid a magnetic eld around the monitor,
move devices like speakers, ourescent lights, AC
transformers, table fans, etc. farther away.
• By pressing the Ebutton, the Auto Adjust Image
function will automatically apply optimized settings to
the display.
Wrong or Unusual Color • If red, green, blue, or any of the color disappears, check
to see if the signal cord is connected properly. If the
plub is loose it might cause a bad connection.
• Try connecting another PC for comparison.
