DANGER
●Adhere to the respective safety reg-
ulations in hazard zones (e. g. ser-
vice stations). Never operate the
device or charge the battery in ex-
plosive atmospheres or spaces,
such as in the presence of flamma-
ble liquids, gases or dust. The de-
vice or battery charger could create
sparks which may ignite the dust or
fumes.
●Never touch the battery charger plug
and socket with wet hands.
●Short circuit hazard! Do not insert
conductive objects (such as screw-
drivers or similar) into the charging
socket of the device or the battery
charger plug. Keep the charging
socket of the device and the battery
charger plug away from other metal
objects, like paper clips, coins, keys,

4 English
nails, screws or other small metal
objects, that can make a connection
from one terminal to another. Short-
ing the battery terminals together
may cause burns or a fire.
●Danger of explosion. Do not charge
any non-rechargeable battery.
몇WARNING
●Use the device and accessories in
accordance with these instructions,
taking into account the working con-
ditions and the work to be performed.
Use of the device for operations dif-
ferent from those intended could re-
sult in a hazardous situation.
●The device is not intended for use by
children, persons with restricted
physical, sensory or mental abilities
or persons unfamiliar with these in-
structions.
●The device should only be operated
by persons who have been instructed
with regard to its use, or those who
have demonstrated their ability to op-
erate it and have been expressly au-
thorized to do so.
●Children must not play with the de-
vice or the battery charger.
●Children must be supervised to pre-
vent them from playing with the de-
vice or the battery charger.
●Only use the device and battery char-
ger for its proper use and take into
account the local conditions.
●Risk of injury. Avoid contact with the
rotating scraper disc. Replace the
protective cap when not using the de-
vice.
●Do not use the device or battery char-
ger if it is not working as it should, has
been dropped, left outdoors, dropped
into water, is damaged or leaking.

English 5
●Only operate or store the device and
battery charger in accordance with
the description and/or illustration.
●Stay alert, watch what you are doing
and use common sense when oper-
ating the device. Do not operate the
device while you are tired or under in-
fluence of drugs, alcohol or medica-
tion. A moment of inattention while
operating the device may result in se-
rious personal injury.
●Use personal protective equipment.
Always wear eye protection.
●Prevent unintentional starting. En-
sure the switch is in off-position be-
fore picking up, carrying or charging
the device. Carrying the device with
your fingers on the switch or while the
device is turned on invites accidents..
●Do not overreach. Keep proper foot-
ing and balance at all times. This en-
ables better control of the power tool
in unexpected situations.
●Dress properly. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewelery. Keep your hair
and clothing away from moving parts.
Loose clothes, jewelery or long hair
can be caught in moving parts.
●Do not let familiarity gained from fre-
quent use of tools allow you to be-
come complacent and ignore tool
safety principles. A careless action
can cause severe injury within a frac-
tion of a second.
●Operate the device in well lit areas.
Dark areas invite accidents.
●Keep children and bystanders away
while operating the device. Distrac-
tions can cause you to lose control.
●Keep scraper disc sharp and clean.
Properly maintained scraper discs
with sharp cutting edges are less like-
ly to bind and are easier to control.

6 English
●Do not use the device if the switch
does not turn it on and off. Any power
tool that cannot be controlled with the
switch is dangerous and must be re-
paired.
●Store idle device out of the reach of
children and do not allow persons un-
familiar with the device or these in-
structions to operate the device. The
device is dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
●Maintain the device and accessories.
Check for misalignment or binding of
moving parts, breakage of parts and
any other condition that may affect
the device’s operation. If damaged,
have the device repaired before use.
Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained devices.
●Disconnect the battery charger plug
from the power source before making
any adjustments, changing accesso-
ries, or storing the device. Such pre-
ventive safety measures reduce the
risk of starting the device accidental-
ly.
●To reduce the risk of fire, electric
shock or injury:
●Immediately replace a damaged bat-
tery charger together with charging
cable with an original part.
●Do not open, modify or repair the bat-
tery charger, the device or the bat-
tery. Repairs are only to be carried
out by qualified personnel.
●The device and the battery charger
contain electrical components - do
not clean the device or the battery
charger under running water.
●You may not charge the battery for
longer than 24 hours without inter-
ruption.
●Disconnect the charger from the
electrical outlet when not in use as

English 7
well as before carrying out any
maintenance work on the charger or
device.
●Avoid body contact with earthed or
grounded surfaces, such as pipes,
radiators, ranges and refrigerators.
There is an increased risk of electric
shock if your body is earthed or
grounded.
●Battery charger plug must match the
outlet. Never modify the battery
charger plug in any way. Unmodified
plugs and matching outlets will re-
duce risk of electric shock.
●Do not expose to rain. Store indoors.
●Do not abuse the battery charger
output cord. Do not pull or carry by
the battery charger output cord, do
not use battery charger output cord
as a handle, do not close a door on
the battery charger output cord, or
pull battery charger output cord
around sharp edges or corners. Do
not run appliance over battery char-
ger output cord. Keep battery char-
ger output cord away from heat,
heated surfaces, oil and moving
parts. Damaged or entangled cords
increase the risk of electric shock.
●Unless otherwise stated in the in-
structions for use and care, do not
modify or repair the device or the
battery.
●Do not unplug by pulling battery
charger output cord. To unplug,
grasp plug.
●Do not handle battery charger or ap-
pliance with wet hands.
●Only use and store the battery char-
ger in dry rooms, not outdoors.
●Only store the device in dry rooms,
not outdoors.

8 English
●Do not incinerate the device, even if
it is severely damaged. The battery
could catch fire and explode.
●In case of visual damage, replace
the charger with original manufac-
turer suggested parts.
●If misused, liquid can leak out of the
battery. The escaping liquid can
cause skin irritation or burns. Do not
touch this. If you accidentally touch
it, rinse the affected area with water.
If the liquid comes into contact with
the eyes, seek medical help.
●Do not use a damaged or modified
battery or a damaged or modified
device. Unpredictable processes
can occur in damaged or modified
batteries, which can lead to fire, ex-
plosions or injuries.
●Recharge only with the battery char-
ger specified by the manufacturer. A
battery charger that is suitable for
one type of battery may create a risk
of fire when used with another bat-
tery.
●Follow all charging instructions and
only charge the battery or device
within the temperature range speci-
fied in the instructions. Incorrect
charging or charging outside the
specified temperature range can
damage the battery and increase
the risk of fire.
●The voltage indicated on the type
plate must correspond to the supply
voltage.
●Do not make any modifications to
the battery.
●The battery has been tested in ac-
cordance with the relevant regula-
tions for international transport and
can be transported / delivered.
●Under abusive conditions, liquid
may be ejected from the battery;

English 9
avoid contact. If contact accidentally
occurs, flush with water. If liquid con-
tacts eyes, immediately seek medi-
cal help. Liquid ejected from the
battery may cause irritation or burns.
●Do not use the device if the device
or its battery is damaged or modi-
fied. Damaged or modified batteries
may exhibit unpredictable behaviour
resulting in fire, explosion or risk of
injury.
●Do not expose the device or battery
to strong sunlight, fire or excessive
temperature. Exposure to strong
sunlight, fire or temperature above
266 °F (130 °C) may cause explo-
sion.
●Follow all charging instructions and
do not charge the device outside the
temperature range specified in the
instructions. Charging improperly or
at temperatures outside the speci-
fied range may damage the battery
and increase the risk of fire.
몇CAUTION
●Never leave the device unsupervised
while it is in operation.
●Keep handles and grasping surfaces
dry, clean and free from oil and
grease. Slippery handles and grasp-
ing surfaces do not allow for safe
handling and control of the device in
unexpected situations.
