ginalbetriebsanleitung und die beiliegen-
den Sicherheitshinweise. Handeln Sie da-
nach.

Bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung
Verwenden Sie das Gerät als Nass- und
Trockensauger:
Zum Aufsaugen von Boden- und Wand-
flächen
Zum Aufsaugen von feuchten und flüssi-
gen Substanzen
Zum Absaugen von trockenen, nicht
brennbaren Stäuben aus Maschinen
In Gewerbe und Industrie
Als nicht bestimmungsgemäße Verwen-
dung gilt:
Das Aufsaugen von gesundheitsschädli-
chen Stäuben und brennbaren Substan-
zen.
Umweltschutz
Die Verpackungsmaterialien sind
recyclebar. Bitte Verpackungen um-
weltgerecht entsorgen.
Elektrische und elektronische Geräte
enthalten wertvolle recyclebare Mate-
rialien und oft Bestandteile wie Batteri-

bei Kurzschluss oder anderen elektri-
schen Fehlern

Verwendung der Funkfernbedienung
Die Geräte:
IVS 100/55
IVS 100/75
sind mit einem Funkempfänger für die opti-
onal erhältliche Funkfernbedienung ausge-
stattet.
ACHTUNG
Betrieb mit Funkfernbedienung
Das Einlernen und die Bedienung des Ge-
räts mit der Funkfernbedienung wird in der
Fernbedienung beiliegenden Betriebsan-
leitung beschrieben.

Beschädigungsgefahr
Lesen und beachten Sie vor Inbetriebnah-
me der Funkfernbedienung die beiliegende
Betriebsanleitung und die Sicherheitshin-
weise.
Kontrollleuchten
Inbetriebnahme
1. Das Gerät in die Arbeitsposition bringen
und wenn nötig, mit der Feststellbremse
sichern.
2. Den Saugschlauch in den Saug-
schlauchanschluss einstecken.
3. Das gewünschte Zubehör auf den Saug-
schlauch stecken.
4. Sicherstellen, dass der Sauggutbehälter
ordnungsgemäß eingesetzt ist.
Zulässige Netzimpedanz
GEFAHR
Warnung
Die maximal zulässige Netzimpedanz am
elektrischen Anschlusspunkt (siehe techni-
sche Daten) darf nicht überschritten wer-
den.
Bei Unklarheiten bezüglich der an Ihrem
Anschlusspunkt vorliegenden Netzimpe-
danz setzen Sie sich bitte mit Ihrem Ener-
gieversorgungsunternehmen in
Verbindung.
Betrieb
Gerät einschalten IVS 100/40
1. Den Netzstecker einstecken.
2. Das Gerät am Hauptschalter einschal-
ten.
Gerät einschalten IVS 100/55 und
IVS 100/75
1. Den Netzstecker einstecken.
2. Das Gerät am Hauptschalter einschal-
ten.
3. Die Taste “Gerät einschalten” betätigen.
Saugvorgang
1. Saugvorgang durchführen.
2. Füllstand im Schmutzbehälter regelmä-
ßig kontrollieren, da das Gerät beim
Saugen nicht automatisch abschaltet.
3. Den Sauggutbehälter bei Bedarf entlee-
ren.
4. Den Filter bei Bedarf reinigen oder
wechseln.
Filter reinigen
An der Frontseite des Geräts ist ein Mano-
meter eingebaut, das den Saugunterdruck
innerhalb des Geräts anzeigt.
IVS 100/40 60 Hz
1 Gerät am “EIN- / AUS-Schalter” aus-
schalten.
2 Hebel Filterreinigung mehrmals hin- und
herbewegen.
IVS 100/55 und IVS 100/75 60 Hz
1 Taster “Gerät ausschalten” drücken.
2 Hebel Filterreinigung mehrmals hin- und
herbewegen.
Bringt diese Reinigung keine Verbesse-
rung, kann der Filter entnommen und ge-
waschen oder ersetzt werden (siehe Kapi-
tel “Filter wechseln”).
Staubsammelbeutel
Zur staubfreien Entleerung des Geräts
kann in den Sauggutbehälter ein Staub-
sammelbeutel eingelegt werden.
Hinweis
Der Staubsammelbeutel darf nicht zum
Nasssaugen verwendet werden.
1. Den Staubsammelbeutel in den Behälter
einsetzten und sorgfältig an die Behäl-
terwand anlegen.
2. Den Beutelrand über den Rand des
Sauggutbehälters nach außen stülpen.
3. Den Sauggutbehälter in das Gerät ein-
setzen.
4. Nach Betriebsende den Staubsammel-
beutel verschließen und aus dem Saug-
gutbehälter herausnehmen.
5. Den Staubsammelbeutel mit Inhalt ge-
mäß den geltenden gesetzlichen Vor-
schriften entsorgen.
Grün

Trockensaugen
몇WARNUNG
Beschädigungsgefahr
Bitte beachten Sie beim Wechsel von
Nass- zu Trockensaugen, dass Saugen
von trockenen Sauggut bei nassem Filter
den Filter zusetzten und unbrauchbar ma-
chen kann.
1 Den nassen Filter vor Benutzung zum
Trockensaugen gut trocknen lassen
oder durch einen trockenen ersetzen.
2 Bei Bedarf den Filter wechseln.
Nasssaugen
ACHTUNG
Beschädigungsgefahr durch Überlauf
des Schmutzbehälters
Der Schmutzbehälter kann bei Aufnahme
von hohen Flüssigkeitsmengen innerhalb
weniger Sekunden gefüllt werden und
überlaufen.
Den Füllstand ständig kontrollieren.
Nach Beendigung des Nasssaugens:
1 Den Filter trocknen
2 Den Behälter mit einem feuchten Tuch
reinigen und trocknen.
Sauggutbehälter entleeren
Der Sauggutbehälter muss entleert wer-
den, wenn er bis ca. 3 cm unter dem obere-
ren Rand gefüllt ist.
1. Gerät ausschalten.
2. Gerät mittels der Feststellbremsen an
den Lenkrollen sichern.
3. Entriegelung am Sauggutbehälter nach
oben öffnen.
4. Den Sauggutbehälter aus dem Gerät
ziehen.
5. Den Sauggutbehälter entleeren und in
umgekehrter Reihenfolge wieder in das
Gerät einsetzen.
Außerbetriebnahme
Gerät ausschalten
1. Das Gerät am Hauptschalter ausschal-
ten.
2. Den Netzstecker ziehen.
Betrieb beenden
1. Das Gerät ausschalten.
2. Das Zubehör abmontieren und bei Be-
darf mit Wasser ausspülen und trocknen
lassen.
3. Den Sauggutbehälter entleeren (siehe
Kapitel “Sauggutbehälter entleeren”).
4. Gerät innen und außen durch Absaugen
und Abwischen mit einem feuchten Tuch
reinigen.
Transport

nach den jeweiligen Richtlinien gegen Rut-
schen und Kippen sichern.

Für dieses Gerät gibt es keine regelmäßi-
gen Wartungsintervalle. Folgende Wartun-
gen werden bei Bedarf ausgeführt:
Filter waschen.
Filter wechseln.
Filter ersetzten.

Prüf- und Wartungsarbeiten
Lassen Sie regelmäßige Überprüfung des
Saugers gemäß den jeweiligen nationalen
Vorschriften des Gesetzgebers zur Unfall-
verhütung durchführen. Wartungsarbeiten
müssen durch eine sachkundige Person zu
regelmäßigen Zeitpunkten nach den Anga-
ben des Herstellers durchgeführt werden,
dabei sind bestehende Bestimmungen und
Sicherheitsanforderungen zu beachten. Ar-
beiten an der Elektroanlage dürfen nur von
einer Elektrofachkraft durchgeführt wer-
den. Bei Fragen wenden Sie Sich bitte an
die KÄRCHER Niederlassung.
Filter waschen
Der Filter kann unter fliesendem Wasser
ausgewaschen werden.
ACHTUNG
Beschädigungsgefahr
Keine Waschmittel oder Bleichmittel ver-
wenden. Nur vollständig getrockneten Fil-
ter in das Gerät einsetzen.

1. Bring the device into the working posi-
tion and secure with the parking brake if
necessary.
2. Insert the suction hose into the suction
hose connection.
3. Plug the desired accessory onto the suc-
tion hose.
4. Ensure that vacuum cleaner waste con-
tainer is inserted correctly.
Permissible mains grid
impedance

Warning
The maximum permissible mains grid im-
pedance at the electrical connection point
(see technical data) must not be exceeded.
Contact your electricity supplier in the case
of any uncertainties regarding the mains
grid impedance at your electrical connec-
tion point.
Operation
Switching on the IVS 100/40 device
1. Connect the mains plug.
2. Switch on the device at the main switch.
Switching on the IVS 100/55 and IVS
100/75 devices
1. Connect the mains plug.
2. Switch on the device at the main switch.
3. Press the "Switch-on device" button.
Vacuuming process
1. Perform vacuuming.
2. Regularly check the filling level in the dirt
receptacle, since the device does not
switch off automatically.
3. Empty the vacuum cleaner waste con-
tainer as necessary.
4. Clean or replace the filter as necessary.
Cleaning the filter
A pressure gauge showing the vacuum in-
side the device is mounted on the front of
the device.
IVS 100/40 60 Hz
1 Switch off the device at the"ON/IFF
switch".
2 Move the filter cleaning lever back and
forth several times.
IVS 100/55 and IVS 100/75 60 Hz
1 Press "Switch off device" button.
2 Move the filter cleaning lever back and
forth several times.
If this cleaning does not result in an im-
provement, the filter can be removed and
washed or replaced (see section"Changing
the filter").
Dust collection bag
A dust collection bag can be inserted in the
vacuum cleaner waste container to allow
dust-free emptying of the device.
Note
The dust collection bag must not be used
for wet vacuum cleaning.
1. Insert the dust collection bag in the vac-
uum cleaner waste container and care-
fully press it against the wall of the
container.
2. Pull the edge of the dust collection bag
over the edge of the vacuum cleaner
waste container.
3. Insert the vacuum cleaner waste con-
tainer into the device.
4. On completion of vacuuming, close the
dust collection bag and remove it from
the vacuum cleaner waste container.

Dry vacuuming
몇WARNING
Risk of damage
When changing from wet vacuuming to dry
vacuuming, please note that vacuuming
dry substances with a wet filter can damage
the filter and make it unusable.
1 Allow the wet filter to dry completely or
replace it with a dry filter before using
the device for dry vacuuming.
2 Replace the filter if necessary.
Wet vacuum cleaning
ATTENTION
Risk of damage if the dirt receptacle
overflows
The dirt receptacle can fill within a few sec-
onds and overflow when vacuuming large
amounts of liquids.
Continuously monitor the filling level.
On completion of wet vacuuming:
1 Dry the filter
2 Clean the container with a moist cloth
and dry it off.
Emptying the vacuum cleaner waste
container
The vacuum cleaner waste container must
be emptied when it is has filled up to ap-
prox. 3 cm below the upper edge.
1. Switch off the device.
2. Secure the device using the parking
brakes on the steering rollers.
3. Open the lock on the vacuum cleaner
waste container upwards.
4. Pull the vacuum cleaner waste container
out of the device.
5. Empty the vacuum cleaner waste con-
tainer and insert it back into the device in
the reverse order.
Shutting down
Switching off the device
1. Switch off the device at the main switch.
2. Pull out the mains plug.
Finishing operation
1. Switch off the device.
2. Remove the accessory and, if neces-
sary, flush it out with water and allow to
dry.
3. Empty the vacuum cleaner waste con-
tainer (see section "Emptying the vacu-
um cleaner waste container").
4. Vacuum off the inside and outside of the
device and clean with a moist cloth.

tuyau d'aspiration.
4. S'assurer que le bac à poussières est
correctement mis en place.

Aspiration
1. Effectuer l’aspiration.
2. Contrôler régulièrement le niveau de
remplissage dans le collecteur d'impure-
tés car l’appareil ne s’arrête pas auto-
matiquement lors de l’aspiration.
3. Vider le bac à poussières, si besoin.
4. Nettoyer ou remplacer le filtre, si besoin.
Nettoyage du filtre
Un manomètre est installé sur la façade de
l’appareil et affiche la dépression d’aspira-
tion dans l’appareil.
IVS 100/40 60 Hz
1 Éteindre l'appareil avec « l'interrupteur
MARCHE / ARRET ».
2 Déplacer plusieurs fois le levier de net-
toyage du filtre vers l’avant et l’arrière.
IVS 100/55 et IVS 100/75 60 Hz
1 Appuyer sur la touche « Éteindre
l'appareil ».
2 Déplacer plusieurs fois le levier de net-
toyage du filtre vers l’avant et l’arrière.
Si ce nettoyage n’apporte pas l’améliora-
tion souhaitée, vous pouvez retirer le filtre
et le laver ou le remplacer (voir le chapitre
« Remplacement du filtre »).
Sac à poussières
Pour vider l’appareil sans libérer de pous-
sière, vous pouvez placer un sac à pous-
sières dans le bac à poussières.
Remarque
Ne pas utiliser le sac à poussières pour
l’aspiration de l'eau.
1. Placer le sac à poussières dans le bac et
l’appliquer avec soin sur la paroi du bac.
2. Rabattre le bord du sac au-dessus du
bac à poussières, vers l’extérieur.
3. Insérer le bac à poussières dans l'appa-
reil.

4. À la fin de l’utilisation, fermer le sac à

Aspiration à sec
몇AVERTISSEMENT
Risque d'endommagement
Attention, lorsque vous passez de l’aspira-
tion humide à l’aspiration à sec, l’aspiration
de produits secs lorsque le filtre est mouillé
peut colmater le filtre et le rendre inutili-
sable.
1 Faire sécher correctement le filtre mouil-
lé avec de l’utiliser pour l’aspiration à
sec ou le remplacer par un filtre sec.
2 Remplacer le filtre, si besoin.
Aspiration de l'eau
ATTENTION
Risque d'endommagement par le débor-
dement du collecteur d'impuretés
Le collecteur d'impuretés peut être rempli
en quelques secondes et déborder lors de
la réception de grands volumes de liquide.
Contrôler le niveau de remplissage en per-
manence.
Lorsque l'aspiration de l’eau est terminée :
1 Séchage du filtre
2 Nettoyer le réservoir avec un chiffon hu-
mide et le sécher.
Vidage du bac à poussières
Vider le bac à poussières lorsqu'il est rem-
pli à env. 3 cm sous le bord supérieur.
1. Éteindre l’appareil.
2. Bloquer l’appareil à l’aide du frein de sta-
tionnement sur les roues directionnelles.
3. Ouvrir le déverrouillage du bac à pous-
sières vers le haut.
4. Retirer le bac à poussières de l’appareil.
5. Vider le bac à poussières et le remettre
en place dans l’appareil dans l’ordre in-
verse.
Mise hors service
Éteindre l’appareil
1. Éteindre l’appareil à l’interrupteur princi-
pal.
2. Débrancher la fiche secteur.
Terminer l'utilisation
1. Éteindre l’appareil.
2. Démonter les accessoires et, si besoin,
les rincer à l’eau et les laisser sécher.
3. Vider le bac à poussières (voir le cha-
pitre « Vidage du bac à poussières »).
4. Aspirer l’appareil, à l’intérieur et à l’exté-
rieur, et le nettoyer à l’aide d’un chiffon
humide.

Il n’existe pas d’intervalles de maintenance
réguliers pour cet appareil. Les mainte-
nances suivantes sont réalisées suivant le
besoin :
Lavage du filtre.
Changement du filtre.
Remplacement du filtre.
Travaux de contrôle et de
maintenance
Faites réaliser régulièrement un contrôle
de l’aspirateur suivant les directives natio-
nales en vigueur du législateur, pour la pré-
vention contre les accidents. Les travaux
de maintenance doivent être réalisés, à
des moments réguliers, par une personne
spécialisée, suivant les indications du fabri-
cant, tout en respectant les directives et
exigences de sécurité adaptées. Les tra-
vaux sur l’installation électrique ne doivent
être effectués que par un électricien spé-
cialisé. Pour toute question, veuillez vous
adresser à l’agence KÄRCHER.
Lavage du filtre
Le filtre peut être lacé sous l’eau courante.
ATTENTION
Risque d'endommagement
Ne pas utiliser de produit de lavage ou de
blanchissage. Insérer exclusivement le
filtre parfaitement séché dans l’appareil.

1. Détacher l’extrémité inférieure et sortir le
flexible vers la turbine d'aspiration.
2. Ouvrir les fermetures.
3. Retirer le couvercle du compartiment du

5. Vérifier que le joint n’est pas endomma-
gé.
6. Insérer le nouveau filtre dans l’ordre in-
verse et veiller à ce que l’écarteur de
filtre soit orienté correctement dans les
poches du filtre.
