15. The appliance is designed for the preparation of small quantities
of food that have to e consumed rather quickly. It is not
designed for the preparation of large quantities at once.
16. It is a solutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times
as it comes into direct contact with food.
17. To disconnect cord, turn the speed switch to "0", then remove the
plug from wall outlet.
18. Always keep an eye on the unit when using it as a stand mixer
and to continually ensure the dough or mix in the owl does not

POLARIZED PLUG INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is equipped with a polarized plug (one lade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit
into the polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not properly
fit into the outlet at first, reverse it. If it still does not fit, contact a
competent qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in
any way.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting
from ecoming entangled in, or tripping over a longer cord.
Extension cords may e used if care is exercised in their use.
• The electrical rating of the extension cord should e at least
that of the appliance. If the electrical rating of the extension
cord is too low, it could overheat and urn.
• The resulting extended cord should e arranged so that it will

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This appliance is not for professional use. You should follow the
requested reaks. Failure to follow this instruction carefully may result
in damage to the motor. Please refer to the rating la el for the
maximum continuous usage time (KB xx min where xx is the maximum
usage time). The reaks should last at least 10 minutes.
MOUNTING
Using the appliance without its support
With those accessories you can eat, knead and mix. It is
recommended to make round movements or movements in form of
an 8.
• Make sure the speed switch is in "0" position and the appliance is
unplugged from the power supply.
• Insert the accessories in the openings at the ottom of the
appliance and if necessary, turn them lightly until you hear a light
click.
• The eaters and the dough hooks have a specific sense of
mounting. The eater / dough hook with the plastic part should
e mounted in the hole surrounded y an indented “star”. Check
that the eaters / dough hooks are correctly mounted y pulling
them slightly.
• Push the ejection utton to remove those accessories.



Use with support and bowl
• Check that the speed switch is on « 0 » position and that the
appliance is unplugged.
• Insert the dough hooks / eaters in the openings situated
underneath the appliance (see “ U sing the appliance without
its support”).
• Once the eaters or the dough hooks are
placed, stand the appliance on its support.
To do so, press the racket release utton
and rotate the support so that it is in a
« vertical » position.
• Then hold the appliance parallel to the
support and slide the appliance in the
support.
• Then push slightly on the appliance
perpendicularly to the support. When you
hear a “click”, it means the appliance is
correctly placed. Check that it is well
placed y lifting it up gently.
• Pay attention to the power ca le. It should
e placed correctly in the space foreseen
to that effect.
• Place the owl on its support and check
that it is in a good position.
• Press the racket release utton to put the
support and the appliance horizontally in
order to immerse the accessories in the
owl.



• You may now plug in the appliance and select a speed. The
rotating device under the owl, on the support of the
appliance, will make the owl turn automatically.
• To remove the appliance from its support, press the racket
release utton and put the support in a vertical position.
• Then press the appliance release utton and push the
appliance gently aside from the support (perpendicularly to
the support)
• Then slide the appliance parallel to the support in order to
remove it from the support.
Note: Always keep an eye on the unit when using it as a stand mixer
and to continually ensure the dough or mix in the owl does not rise
up into the gear section
SPEED SETTINGS
Speeds:
1 Dry ingredients: utter, potatoes, flour
2 Liquids, sauces, spices
3 Dough: cake, iscuits
4 Desserts (creams)
5 Egg white, whipped cream
Your appliance is fitted with a tur o function, which allows increasing
the speed of your appliance, whatever the speed (1 to 5). You only
have to press the ooster utton and to maintain it. The tur o
switches off when you release the utton.
Your appliance also has a pulse function, which allows you to use
your appliance for a very short time. To use this function, push the
speed switch to the left, your appliance will start. Once you release
the switch, the appliance stops.



CLEANING
• Always unplug the appliance from the power supply efore
cleaning it.
• Remove the accessories efore washing them in soap water. Do
not use scouring pads for the plastic materials. Rinse with clear
water and let dry efore each new use. Do not place them in the
dishwasher.
• Wipe the outside with only a slightly moistened cloth,
ensuring that no moisture enters the cooling slots.
• Do not clean with any a rasive scouring pad or steel wool, as this
will damage the finish.
• Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid.



This KALORIK product is warranted in the U.S.A. for 1 year from the
date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. This
warranty is not transfera le. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of

KALORIK, is proven defective, it will e repaired or replaced, at
Kalorik’s option, without charge to the customer. If a replacement
product is sent, it will carry the remaining warranty of the original
product.
This warranty does not apply to any defect arising from a uyer's or
user's misuse of the product, negligence, failure to follow KALORIK
instructions noted in the user’s manual, use on current or voltage
other than that stamped on the product, wear and tear, alteration
or repair not authorized y KALORIK, or use for commercial purposes.
There is no warranty for glass parts, glass containers, filter asket,
lades and agitators, and accessories in general. There is also no
warranty for parts lost y the user.

TIEMPO DE UTILIZACIÓN
Para una utilización óptima de su aparato y evitar el deterioro de su
motor, controle el tiempo de utilización continuada máxima
indicada en la placa de características. (KB xx min. donde xx es el
duración máxima). Pausa de utilización: 10 minutos.
MONTAJE
Uso sin soporte
Esos accesorios permiten atir y amasar. Se aconseja realizar
movimientos circulares o en forma de 8.
• Comprue e que el selector de velocidad se encuentra en
posición “0” y que el aparato está desenchufado.
• Inserte los accesorios en las a erturas situadas en la parte trasera
del aparato y, si es necesario, gírelas ligeramente hasta oir un
« clic ».
• Los atidores y los amasadores tienen un sentido de montaje
específico. El atidor / amasador con la parte plástica de e estar
insertado en el orificio con una « estrella » dentada. Comprue e
que los atidores / amasadores estén correctamente montados
sacando ligeramente en ellos.
• Pulse so re el otón de eyección para retirar los accesorios.
Uso con soporte y escudilla
• Comprue e que el otón de velocidad esté en la posición « 0 » y
que el aparato esté desenchufado.



• Inserte los atidores / amasadores en las a erturas situadas ajo
el aparato (véase « Uso sin soporte »)
• En cuanto los atidores / amasadores estén
fijados, ponga el aparato en su soporte. Por
eso, presione el otón de cierre del soporte y
hágalo girar de manera que sea en posición
« vertical ».
• Luego ponga el aparato de manera paralela
al soporte y deslícelo en el soporte.
• Luego, presione ligeramente en el aparato, de
manera perpendicular al soporte. Cuando se
oye un « clic », significa que el aparato está en
uena posición. Comprue e que esté ien
fijado sacando suavemente en ello.
• Cuidado : el ca le de alimentación de e
estar ien puesto en el emplazamiento
previsto a éste fin.
• Ponga la escudilla en su soporte y comprue e
que esté en uena posición.
• Presione el otón de cierre del soporte para
volver a poner el soporte y el aparato en
posición horizontal y sumergir los accesorios en
la escudilla.
• Ahora puede enchufar el aparato y escoger una velocidad. El
disco rotativo, u icado ajo la escudilla, en el soporte, haga
girar la escudilla automáticamente.



• Para sacar el aparato de su soporte, presione el otón de cierre
del soporte y ponga el soporte en posición vertical.
• Luego presione el otón de cierre del aparato y apártelo
ligeramente del soporte (de manera perpendicular al soporte)
• Luego deslice el aparato de manera paralela al soporte para
« sacarlo » del soporte.
VELOCIDAD
Velocidad:
1 Alimentos secos: harina, mantequilla, patatas

Su aparato cuenta con una función tur o que permite aumentar la
velocidad de su aparato, sea cual sea la posición de su selector (1 a
5). Para ello asta con pulsar y mantener pulsado el otón "Boost".
En el momento que deje de presionar la función tur o se para.
Su aparato tam ién está provisto con una posición pulse que le
permite un uso ocasional de su aparato. Por eso, empuje el otón
de velocidad hacia la izquierda y el aparato se pone en marcha. En
cuanto relaje el otón, se para el aparato.
LIMPIEZA
• Tras el empleo y antes de su limpieza, desenchufe el aparato.
• Limpie los accesorios y en agua caliente ja onosa.
• Limpie el aparato con la ayuda de un papel de cocina
a sor ente o un paño ligeramente humedecido, asegurándose
de que no haya humedad en las aeraciones que enfrían el
aparato.
• Nunca limpie con productos a rasivos ya que estos estropean el
esmalte y el recu rimiento.
• No sumerja nunca el loque motor en el agua u otro líquido.



CONSIGNES DE SECURITE
Pour utiliser un appareil électrique, des précautions élémentaires

Cet appareil a une prise polarisée (une des deux tiges métalliques
est plus longue que l’autre). Pour réduire le risque de choc
électrique, cette prise ne peut être introduite que d’une seule façon
dans la fiche murale. Si cette prise ne rentre pas correctement dans
la fiche, retournez-la. Si elle ne rentre toujours pas, contactez un
électricien qualifié et reconnu. N’essayez jamais de modifier vous-
même la prise polarisée.
CONSIGNES CONCERNANT LE CORDON
Le cordon d’alimentation de l’appareil est un cordon de type court,
et ce afin de diminuer les risques d’accidents (chute si vous marchez
sur le cordon...). Vous pouvez toutefois utiliser une rallonge si
nécessaire mais:
• Assurez-vous que l'ampérage de la rallonge soit égal ou
supérieur à celui de l'appareil. Une rallonge avec un
ampérage inférieur à celui de l'appareil risquerait de
surchauffer et de rûler.
