IMP RTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTI NS
2. Check that your mains voltage corres onds to that stated on the
rating late of the a liance before using the a liance.
3. To rotect against electric shock do not immerse cord, lugs, the
a liance or its control anel in water or other liquid.
4. Close su ervision is necessary when the a liance is used by or
near children.
5. Do not o erate any a liance with a damaged cord or lug or
after the a liance malfunctions or has been damaged in any
manner. Return a liance to the nearest authorized service
facility for examination, re air, or adjustment.

7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the
a liance manufacturer may cause injuries.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
10. Do not lace on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
11. Always attach lug to a liance first, then lug cord in the wall
outlet. To disconnect, remove lug from wall outlet.
12. Avoid sudden tem erature changes, such as adding hot water in
the ice basket.
13. Do not use a liance for other than intended use.
14. Do not clean your ice maker with flammable fluids. The fumes
can create a fire hazard or ex losion.
15. Do not ti over.
16. If the ice maker is brought in from outside in wintertime, give it a
few hours to warm u to room tem erature before lugging it in.
17. Only use drinkable water to re are ice.
18. Never block the ventilation grid.

A short ower su ly cord is rovided to reduce the hazards resulting
from becoming entangled in, or tri ing over a longer cord.
Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use.
• The electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least
that of the a liance. If the electrical rating of the extension
cord is too low, it could overheat and burn.
• The resulting extended cord should be arranged so that it will
not hung over the counter to or tableto where it can be
ulled on by children or tri ed over.

PERATI N
• After having un acked the a liance, clean water tank and ice
basket thoroughly.
• Pour drinkable water in the water tank.
• To select the size of the ice cubes, ress the SELECT button until
the ilot light corres onding to the desired size turns on. “S”: small,
“M”: medium, “L”: large.
• Press START button to start the ice making rocess.
• Press STOP button to switch off the a liance.
• If the water tank is getting em ty, the “DEFICIENT” ilot light will
turn on and a bee will sound. In that case, ress the STOP
button, fill in the water tank. Wait for 3 minutes before ressing the
START button to resume the ice making rocess.
• When the “ICE FULL” ilot light switches on, it means that you
should em ty the ice basket and 5 bee s will sound. In that case,
ress the STOP button, em ty the ice basket and ress the START
button to resume the ice making rocess.
NOTE:
 If the ambient tem erature is below 59°F, we advise you to
select the small size. If the ambient tem erature is higher than
86°F, we recommend you select the large size.
 For best erformance, the tem erature of the water you our
into the water tank should be between 44.6°F and 95°F and
the ambient tem erature between 59°F and 100.4°F.
 If you select the large size, the ice making rocess will be a
little bit longer.
CLEANING AND CARE
• Always un lug the a liance before cleaning it.
• Wi e the a liance with kitchen a er or a soft cloth.
• Never immerse the a liance in water or any other liquid.
• Never ut any art of the a liance in the dishwasher.
• Do not use abrasive roducts.
• When you know that you will not use the a liance for a long
eriod, remove the drain lug and let the water come out of the
water tank.

C NSEJ S DE SEGURIDAD
1. LEA T DAS LAS INSTRUCCI NES.
2. Antes de utilizar el a arato, com ruebe que el voltaje de la red
eléctrica coincide con el indicado en la laca de datos técnicos
del a arato.
3. Para rotegerse contra una descarga eléctrica, no sumerja el
a arato o el enchufe en agua o en otros líquidos.
4. Es siem re necesaria la su ervisión cercana cuando este
a arato sea utilizado cerca de niños. Este a arato no debe ser
usado or niños.
5. No o ere el a arato si el cable o el enchufe están dañados, o
des ués de que el a arato ha funcionado inadecuadamente,
se ha caído o ha sido dañado en cualquier manera. El a arato
debe ser llevado al fabricante o a un centro de servicio
autorizado ara ser com robado y re arado.
6. Desenchufe el a arato cuando no lo use o antes de lim iarlo.
7. El uso de accesorios que no sean los recomendados or el
fabricante uede causar incendios, descargas eléctricas o
heridas.
8. No use en el exterior.
9. No ermita que el cable cuelgue del borde de la mesa o del
mostrador.
10. No coloque este a arato sobre o cerca de quemadores de gas
o eléctricos, o dentro de un horno caliente.
11. Enchufe siem re rimero el cable al a arato y des ués en el
enchufe de la red eléctrica. Para desconectar el a arato,
desenchúfelo.
12. Procure evitar cambios de tem eratura bruscos. Por ejem lo, no
añada agua caliente en la cesta de hielo.
13. No use este a arato más que ara lo que ha sido diseñado.
14. No lim ie su maquina de hielo con fluidos inflamables. Los humos
odrían rovocar un incendio o una ex losión.
15. No incline el a arato.

16. Si guarda la maquina de hielo fuera durante el invierno. Deje el
a arato algunas horas en el interior ara que esté a la
tem eratura ambiente antes de enchufarlo.
17. Utilice sólo agua otable.
18. No bloquee nunca la rejilla de ventilación.

INSTRUCCI NES DEL CABLE
El cable de alimentación del a arato es un cable corto a fin de
disminuir el riesgo de accidentes (caídas al tro ezar con él, etc.)
Puede utilizar un alargador si es necesario.
• Asegúrese de que el nivel eléctrico del cable es igual o
mayor que el indicado. Una extensión con un bajo nivel
eléctrico conllevaría el riesgo de su sobrecalentamiento y
daño.
• Para evitar riesgos, coloque el a arato de forma tal que los
niños no uedan jalarlo o tro ezar con él. Que no arrastre
nunca or el suelo.

• Des ués de desembalar el a arato, lave el de ósito de agua yla
cesta de hielo.
• Vierta agua otable en el de ósito de agua.
• Para elegir el tamaño de los cubos de hielo, ulse en botón
SELECT hasta que el testigo luminoso corres ondiente al tamaño
deseado se encienda. “S”: equeño, “M”: medio, “L”, grande.
• Pulse el botón START ara em ezar el roceso de fabricación de
hielo.
• Para a agar el a arato, ulse el botón STOP.
• Cuando el de ósito de agua esté casi vacío, el testigo luminoso
“DEFICIENT” se encenderá y se oirá una señal sonora. En este
caso, ulse el botón STOP y llene el de ósito de agua. Es ere 3
minutos antes de ulsar el botón START ara retomar el roceso
de fabricación de hielo.
• Cuando el testigo luminoso “ICE FULL” se encienda y que se oiga
cinco señales sonoras, significa que es necesario vaciar la cesta
de hielo. En este caso, ulse el botón STOP, vacíe la cesta de
hielo y ulse el botón START ara retomar el roceso de
fabricación de hielo.
N TA:
 Cuando la tem eratura ambiente sea inferior a 59°F,
aconsejamos que seleccione el tamaño equeño (S).
Cuando la tem eratura ambiente sea su erior a 86°F,
aconsejamos que seleccione el tamaño grande (L).
 Para mejores resultados, la tem eratura del agua que se
vierte en el de ósito de agua debe ser entre 44,6°F y 95°F,
mientras la tem eratura ambiente debe ser entre 59°F y
100,4°F.
 Si escoja el tamaño grande, el roceso de fabricación de
hielo durará un oco más tiem o.
LIMPIEZA
• Desenchufe el a arato antes de lim iarlo.
• Lim ie el a arato con a el de cocina o un año suave.
• No sumerja nunca el a arato en el agua o en otros líquidos.
• No introduzca nunca artes del a arato en el lavavajillas.
