SUNDA HAMMOCK INSTRUCTIONS

1. Find the gold cord in the stake pack to begin the setup
of the rainfly.
2. Connect gold cords with line lock and pack hook
to the rainfly’s corresponding gold webbing loops
located at each end. Then pull the ridgeline taut,
and center the rainfly between your trees/posts.
4. Once connected, the poles will hang upside down from
the rainfly as seen in the picture. Then, connect the two
silver arch poles to the ball cap connectors, and flip
each pole up into the rainfly.
3. Connect the silver arch poles to the ball cap
connectors located at the four corners of the
tent.

5. On the inside of the rainfly connect each silver arch
pole to the tent pole clip found at the center of the
rainfly.
6. Locate the 4 inside velcro loops on each side of
the rainfly. Wrap the velcro loops around the silver
arch poles.
7. Open the window on each end, or, if you prefer, you can
roll it up.
8. If you choose to roll up the window material, you
can use the webbing loop and line lock to keep it
secure.

9. Once you have completed setting up the rainfly, the next
step is to set up the hammock.
10. Find the sewn channel at either end of the hammock,
and pull the gold dyneema cord through each end.
11. Slide the sewn channel down to the side with the
looped end. Ensure all knots on the gold dyneema cord
are visible and not inside the sewn channel.

12. Loop the knotted end of the dyneema cord back
through the opposite end. Pull tight. Check to ensure
there are no knots left in the sewn channel.
13. With each end of the hammock cinched, pull one end
through the window.
14. Wrap the included Python Coils and Kanga
Claws around the tree. Connect the Kanga claw to the
gold dyneema cord at one of the knots on the cord.
Repeat on the opposite end.
Note: Python coils can be replaced with our python
straps for greater amounts of adjustment.
15. Take a step back and make sure the tent body is
centered under the rainfly. If not, use the sliding
adjusters on the ridgeline of the rainfly to center.

16. Check each window to confirm that the gold
suspension cord is not resting on the window
openings.
17. Step inside and press firmly in the middle of
hammock to reconfirm that the gold suspension
cord will not put strain on the window openings.
18. This image shows what NOT to do. If the suspension
is putting strain on the windows, adjust the ridgeline down
on the tree or reposition the hammock straps higher on
the tree.
Note: When trees are far apart it is not uncommon for
the straps to be higher than the ridgeline of the rainfly.
19. Adjust the height of the straps or ridgeline and repeat
Steps 16 and 17 until the hammock body and suspension
no longer come into contact with the rainfly.

20. Once you have found the right suspension height flip
the hammock over to have the mesh body facing the top
of the rainfly.
21. Locate the tent pole clips with small gold webbing
flags and connect them around the tent pole.
The “H-Clip” is the center most clip and is connected
to the corresponding connector attached to the pole.
Note, there should be one tent clip on each side of the
velcro pole retainer.

There are two tent clips on each end of the tent with
a sticker stating “DO NOT ATTACH IN HAMMOCK MODE”
please heed this warning. If connected, they will put
stress on the tent poles and bug net possibly causing
the hammock to fail.
22. Test the tent body one final time to ensure no strain
is being put on the rainfly or the mesh canopy. Then,
stake out the corners of the rainfly, if needed.
