With your setup order sorted, let’s get to the good part: installing.

Install the Molle Panel
as per it’s instructions.
Now’s the time to mount
any additional accessories
to the Molle as well.
Follow the Shelf
fitting guide. Complete
the Shelf & Molle install.

Let’s get to work.
Preparing the Vehicle
1. Whether you’re starting from a
factory rear, or with existing KAON
accessories, we need to start from
a blank slate. Remove the rear grab
handles by prying open the plastic
cover and removing the bolts
withasocket.
Installing the
Molle Panels
2. Ensure you have the correct panel
for each side. The ‘K’ on each panel
should be oriented at the front of
the vehicle.
3. Now is the easiest time to attach
any accessories such as pouches,
electrical components, or storage
pods to yourMolle Panels.
Thread the handle mounts over the
rear grab handles, ensuring molles
are oriented as pictured.
If you’re installing with a
Standalone Shelf: their handle
brackets should be sandwiched
between theMolle Panel and factory
handles at this stage.
If you’re installing with a
Barrier and/or Barrier Shelf:
their handle brackets should be
sandwiched between theMolle
Panel and factory handles at
thisstage.
Shelf Brackets should be layered
over the Molles,and Barrier
HandleBrackets last, paying
attention to the correct orientation
as per theirinstructions.
4. Secure using the factory handles
and hardware. Tighten the bolts to
secure and reclip the plastic cover.

Finishing the Install
5. Apply gentle pressure to the
mollepanel so it sits flush against
the interior trim.
6. Ensure the spacing around the
Molle Panels is even and correct.
7. Use a 3mm bit to carefully drill the
three lower mount holes.
Depending on preference, you can
drill without removing the panel.
Otherwise mark the placement and
remove the panel to drill.
8. Secure the molle to these
holes using the supplied self
tappingscrews and washers.
9. Repeat for the other side.
10. That’s it, you’re done! If you are
installing a Shelf or Light Cargo
Barrier with your panels, continue
with the instructions in their
fittingguides.
