Connect the Hardware
I f your I nter net connect ion is t hr ough an Ethernet cable from t he
wall inst ead of through aDSL/ Cable m odem , connect t he Et hernet
cable direct ly t o t he r out er ’s I nternet p or t , and skip St ep 1,2,3 t o
com plet e t he har dware connect ion.

5. Instruction for Connecting Modem –PC
1) Make sure t he following :
-Your Cable Modem is power ed ON. The power LED will be t urned ON.
-Your PC is t urned-on and con nect ed t o Cable Modem using an Ethernet cable.
-Connect t igh t ly t he coaxial cable t o t he cable out let .
-After Online LED is ON, Cable Modem becom es online.
2) Configure your PC t o obt ain an I P addr ess fr om aDHCP server.
3) From your PC, st art your web br ow ser applicat ion like Chr om e, I nt er net Explorer,
or et c.
4) Type av alid URL such as “ w ww .k aonm edia. com ” and < En t er > .
The web sit e should be open if con nect ed cor r ect ly .
