This user’s guide is prepared for you to use your
vehicle in a manner of safe and effective way.
These safety informations are to protect you and
your passengers.
Therefore prior to run your vehicle please read
this manual carefully.
In case of injuries due to not to obey the safety
rules in this manual will be the responsibility of
the vehicle owner and the driver.
User manual should be in the vehicle during the
sales of the vehicle.
In addition to these informations,all national
regulations are valid.
This manual is desgined for common use in all
JEST models, therefore some specications can
be different than in this manual.
This vehicle is manufactured to carry passengers.
Passenger capacity is shown in the capacity label.
This vehicle cannot be used for another purpose.
Improper use of this vehicle will be responsibility
of the owner and the driver.
In order to keep you and your passengers
safe, some hardwares are used in the vehicle.
Also some equipments and materials are
recommended for the safety issues.
This equipments,hardwares and materials should
be used in their capacity and necessary physical
conditions should be kept to get the efcient

For the vehicle safety,use only genuine KARSAN
spare parts which are tested and approved by
KARSAN.
In case of injuries and damages caused by non-
genuine parts, KARSAN will not accept any
responsibility.
Use of non-genuine parts and changes done by
unauthorized person can cause safety problems
on the vehicle.
These safety problems can cause damages and
injuries of passengers. And also driver can face
undesirable troubles.
To make the service and maintenance work
at KARSAN service stations will ensure the
comfortable driving experience and also low fuel
consumption. Therefore the clean environment
can be achieved.
When you provide your vehicle to KARSAN
service station,it becomes one of the members
of KARSAN environment system.
At all of KARSAN service stations, environment
protection regulations are applied completely to
avoid pollution.
Mobile phones can cause driver carelessness.
Therefore the use of mobile devices are not
recommended during the journey.
And also the national regulations related with the
electromagnetic radiaton are obligatory.
Prior to mount audio devices, ensure that
your authorized vendor applied the related

To open the window push the
button.
Left control panel is located on the lower side of
the driver compartment
By using the switch adjust the
mirror position.Mirror turns

Fuel Indicator Rev Counter Speedometer
Displays
It shows the fuel level in the tank.
1/1: Tank is full
1/2: Tank is half
0 : Tank is empty
To activate the display, turn the ignition key to
position “A”.
It shows instant engine rpm.
Display value x 1000 = Engine Instant RPM
(revolution/min.)
The red side on the display shows the overload.
It shows the instant vehicle speed.
Display value shows the distance travelled by
vehicle per hour (km/hr).
WARNING
•
Don’t wait to buy fuel until the tank is
empty.
•
To avoid the damage of fuel lter,buy fuel
before your tank is empty.
WARNING
•
Drive your vehicle in the allowed speed
range according to the regulations.
ENVIRONMENT
The high rpm values can effect the vehicle
performance and fuel efciency directly.
By driving with the high values can cause
more fuel consumption and environment
pollution.

Engine Coolant Temperature Indıcator Troubleshooting Trip Counter
Displays
It shows the engine cooling water temperature.
In the normal working conditions, depending on
the air and road conditions the cooling water
temperature will show the middle point.
Trip counter shows the distance travelled.
Daily Kilometer Counter (TRIP)
It shows the distance between two points after
the last reset time.
Total Kilometer Counter (TOTAL)
It shows the distance travelled from the rst run
time.
WARNING
•
If you realize that the cooling water
temperature is rising abnormally,drive
your vehicle away the trafc.Absolutely
don’t stop the engine. Run the engine
with idle speed.To stop the engine may
cause a serious problem on the engine
parts.If the temperature still high or you
are facing this problem twice, please
go the the closest KARSAN authorized
service station as soon as possible.
INFORMATION
If the engine cooling water temperature
comes above the normal value, temperature
warning lamp located on the display blinks.
(red color)
• Park the vehicle to a safe place
• Push the asher button.
• Activate the handbrake
•
Without stopping the engine,shift the
transmission unloaded
• Shut down the A/C.
•
Until the temperature decreases to a normal
level push the accelerator pedal.
•
Wait the cooling water temperature comes
below 100 °C.

Counter Reset Button
Warnings
It is used to reset the kilometer counter. By
pressing and holding the button for 3 sec. daily
kilometer counter will be restarted (TRIP).
Orange light the brake pads are
worn. If it lights up for a long
period of time directly go to
a KARSAN authorized service
station
Green light blinks when one of
the signals are active.
Red light blinks during the
asher button is pushed.
Orange light shows the ABS
system has a trouble. Even in
this case vehicle brakes can
work. But the safe braking
distance can be longer. Directly
bring your vehicle to a KARSAN
authorized service station.
Red light shows the hydraulic oil
level is low. If it lights up for a
long period of time directly go
to a KARSAN authorized service
station

INFORMATION
This button is also used for passing between
the daily kilometer counter (TRIP) and
total(TOTAL) kilometer counter informations.
To see the informations on the display push
the button only once.
2.4.3 Warning Lamps
INFORMATION
When the ignition key is activated, all warning
lamps light up once and disappear. If any
of the warning lamps’ lighting up during the
driving period or engine running period, it
means there is a serious problem to take care.
Thus, do the necessary preventive operations.
INFORMATION
If the blinking is fast,there may be a problem.
Signal lamp or the related fuse can be
defected.
