TOUCH
The unsurpassed feel of the MP8 is due to its
wooden-key, graded hammer A A PRO action.
Following the mechanical principles of our grand
piano actions, the A A PRO is simply the finest
action available in a professional stage piano.
At the heart of the MP8's superb piano sound is
Kawai's acclaimed Harmonic Imaging sound tech-
nology. Able to re-create the entire dynamic range
of the hand-crafted EX Concert Grand Piano,
Harmonic Imaging delivers breathtaking realism in
all of the 256 sounds on-board the MP8.
The MP8 offers 4-zone controller capability with
each zone providing internal and/or external con-
trol. Layers, splits, velocity switches along with set-
tings for pedals, controllers, and the unique control
knobs can be stored in any of 256 user setups.
A special user-assignable switch provides control
over external sequencers, metronomes, and other
panel functions. Stereo Line Out and XLR jacks
make connecting to any sound system or recording
device a breeze.
