PRODUCT INFORMATION
Kellfri’s tractor-mounted gritter has a wide range of applications. The gritter is suitable for both
ice clearance using various materials as well as the laying of sawdust and chippings in running
tracks or similar or for top dressing green areas. The spread auger and mixer in the gritter
are hydraulically operated. The adjustable ow valve variably regulates the rotation speed of
the spread auger. This allows for easy adjustment of the spreading quantity for various types
of materials and for selecting the operating speed. The bottom aps are spring loaded with
adjustable pressure to achieve even spreading adapted for various types of material. When
tractor-mounted, loading is easily and eciently managed from the tractor’s control panel
by hydraulically angling the gritter backward. In the lowered position, simply reverse into the
sand pile, lift the spreader back to the working position and the hopper will be lled ready for
spreading to commence. Equipped with hydraulic cylinder and three-point linkage. The gritter
requires a single-acting, return and double-acting hydraulic outlet on the tractor. The gritter is
supplied with four hydraulic ½ inch, quick coupling male hoses.
