We hope that your new CellSet gives you many hours of convenient, clear, and comfortable operation.
This product is designed to connect to a variety of intercoms and Bluetooth headset adapters. It must be used
in conjunction with a KTG Intercom Harness, and a KTG Cell Phone Harness (each sold and packaged
separately).
OPERATION
Besides providing an audio interface between the bike intercom and a Bluetooth headset adapter, this CellSet
provides a timed charging function for the adapter (provided you purchased a combination audio/power cell
phone harness).
CellSet charges the adapter for a period of three (3) hours after you turn your bike “OFF”. After 3 hours,
CellSet stops charging the adapter and goes to sleep: While asleep, it draws only a few micro amperes of
current.
POWER HARNESS INSTALLATION
Locate the power harness, (part number 85833) and connector kit. Included in the kit are:
2 ea. Red, #10 insulated ring terminals
1 ea. un-insulated 1/4” ring terminal
3 ea. Red, tap and run terminal. (22 to 18 gauge wire)
1 ea. Inline fuse kit
Locate fused, unswitched, (always “on”) and switched (on/off with ignition) power points on your
motorcycle.
Never connect directly to the battery without an inline fuse.
Make the following connections:
RED - Unswitched power
GREEN - Switched power
BLACK - Chassis ground
HARNESS INSTALLATION
Refer to the instructions sheets provided with the Intercom Harness, and Cell Phone Harness. When you
complete those installations refer back to this sheet.

CELLSET INSTALLATION
CellSet jack J1 connects to the Intercom Harness you purchased.
CellSet’s plug P1 (and J2, if a combination audio/power cell phone adapter harness was purchased) connects to
the Cell Phone Harness you purchased.
CellSet plug P2 connects to the power harness (part number 85833).
INTERNAL SWITCH SETTING
Remove the four screws from the top of the CellSet and remove the top cover.
Locate the small, 4 position, blue and white rocker switch labeled “S1” (see previous figure for approximate
location).
Refer to the tag attached to the Cell Phone Harness you purchased. This tag indicates the
proper setting for switch S1, position “1.” If the tag states “SW1 IN’, then rock switch
“S1 position #1” to the “ON” position. If the tag reads “SW1 OUT”, rock switch “S1
position #1” to the “OFF” position. For reference, the side figure shows the switch in the
“OFF” position.
Turn on your intercom and adjust the intercom volume to its usual settings. Put on your helmet/helmet. Pair
your bluetooth phone and headset adapter. Place or receive a phone call. Depending on your intercom level
preferences, other switches in the CellSet, are set to optimize audio performance.
OTHER SWITCH SETTINGS
The switch labeled “S1” has four (4) positions. Position “1” was previously set. Positions “2,” “3,” and
“4” attenuate audio levels depending on where you set your intercom volume.
S1 postition “2” attenuates the level of the audio coming out of the cell phone and going into the intercom (i.e.
receive level).
Switches S1, positions “3” and “4” set the level of the audio coming from your intercom and going out to the

cell phone (i.e. transmit level).
You may need to experiment with these switches to achieve optimum results for your particular intercom
settings.
Replace CellSet’s top cover screws and mount the box to the bike using tie wraps.
NOTES:
CellSet is water resistant, not water proof:, so mount it in a sheltered location.
CellSet is internally fused with a solid state, auto-reseting, 1/10 Amp fuse. To reset the fuse, turn the
bike’s power “off”, wait a few seconds then turn it back “on”.
