GRead these instructions carefully and retain

GRemove all packaging and any labels.
GTo prevent damage to the kettle:
GGAvoid contact with hard surfaces and
objects;
GGAvoid knocking the glass body against the
tap when filling.
GDo not use the kettle if it has been dropped
or damaged i.e. glass cracked or chipped.
Never use a damaged appliance. Get it
checked or repaired: see ‘service and
customer care .
GAlways use the filter and never overfill -
boiling water may splash out.
GAvoid contact with steam coming out of the
spout area when pouring and out of the lid
or spout area when refilling.
GBeware: the glass body of the kettle will get
hot during operation.
GNever let the cord hang down where a child
could grab it.
GAlways unplug your kettle when not
in use.
GNever put the kettle, powerbase, cord or
plug in liquid.
GCaution: Do not operate the kettle on an
inclined surface.
GOnly use the powerbase supplied and keep it
clean and dry.
GMake sure the lid is secure before switching
the kettle on.

to use your kettle
1 Press the lid rele se button 햴to
open the lid, then fill the kettle. The
w ter level must be between ‘MAX’
nd 1 cup (250mls).
GIf you live in h rd w ter re we
recommend th t you use filtered
w ter in order to m int in the
ppe r nce nd efficiency of your
kettle.
GBe economic l: do not boil more
w ter th n you need.
GTo improve the qu lity of your drinks
lw ys use fresh w ter.
GEmpty the kettle fter e ch use.
2 Close the lid – ensuring it is l tched
down correctly.
3 Plug in nd switch on.
4 Your kettle will boil nd switch off
utom tic lly. To re-boil, w it few
seconds - the on/off switch needs
time to reset.
Note - To interrupt the boiling
ensure that the switch is in
the off position before
removing from the powerbase.
GIf you experience problems
with your kettle switching on
and off during use or
switching off before boiling,
check that the flat element is
free from scale - see
“descaling”.
GYour kettle is fitted with filter to

GIf you find drops of w ter under your
kettle, don’t worry - it is just
condens tion.

GIf you switch on with too little w ter,
your kettle will cut out utom tic lly.
Switch off, remove from the
powerb se nd let it cool down
before re-filling. When it h s cooled
down, the switch will reset itself.

filter, you still need to cle n the
inside ( nd the filter) regul rly.

1 Open the lid.
2 Unclip the filter by pushing down on
the rrow gr phic then lift the filter
out w y from the spout re .
3either rinse under the t p or use
soft brush.
or when desc ling your kettle, drop
the filter in too. Rinse thoroughly.
4 To refit – line the filter up with the
spout nd slide the filter b ck into
the slot , then push forw rd nd
clip securely into pl ce.
Note: the lid c nnot be closed if the
filter is not fitted correctly.

deposit on the side of the kettle. This
is norm l but c n be removed with
regul r cle ning.
GAltern tively, to reduce limesc le
