cover MUST be refitted when
replacin the fuse. If the fuse cover
is lost then the plu must not be
used until a replacement can be

must be DESTROYED

settin s 2 and 3, lower the carria e
lever and press the toast button .
●As with all new heatin elements,
your toaster may emit a sli ht
burnin smell when it is first
switched on. This is normal and not
a cause for concern.
3 Wash the sandwich ca e with hot
soapy water, then dry thorou hly.

supply, an audible beep will be
heard.
2 Adjust the slot width to suit the food
item .CAUTION: Take care
not to touch the fascia panel,
it may be hot.
3 Insert the bread, muffins, ba els,
croissants etc. Do not force food
items into the toaster.
4 Lower the carria e lever .
5 Move the brownin control to the
desired settin . Use a low brownin
control settin for li ht toastin and
for thin or dry bread.
6 Select the desired function button.
The selected button and cancel
button li hts will illuminate, an
audible beep will be heard and
toastin will be in.
●To toast ba els the cut face should
be facin the front of the toaster.
●Note: when toastin usin the ba el
button, the front element will toast
with a hi her heat than the element
at the back of the toaster. This ill
result in only one side of the
item being toasted.
●To toast frozen bread etc., move the
brownin control to the defrost
position .
●You can use the carria e lever to lift
the food item to Peek & View™ at
any time without cancellin .
7 To stop toastin at any sta e, press
the cancel button. The toaster will
emit an audible beep to indicate
toastin is cancelled and the button
li hts will o out.
8 When toastin has finished the
toaster will emit an audible beep and
the button li hts will o out and the
toastin will stop. The food item will
NOT pop up.
9 Use the carria e lever to raise the
food item.
10 After use, unplu the toaster.

●When cutting your paninis or
ciabattas etc do not cut all the way
through, instead leave the bottom
side uncut so that it prevents melted
cheese rom dripping into the toaster.
●Cut ingredients thinly - do not use
large chunks.
●Take care when using ingredients
that could melt and run out o the
ood item. We do not recommend
the use o high at or similar illings
that may drip into the toaster as this
will be di icult to clean.
●Lightly butter the outside sur ace o
sandwiches and place the illing
inbetween the unbuttered sides. This
helps prevent the outside rom
burning. Do not use low at spreads,
which are not suitable or toasting.
●Ensure the ood item is evenly illed.
●Always use ood items that are a
suitable size or the sandwich cage.

the button lights will go out and the
toasting will stop. The ood item will
NOT pop up.
9 Leave the toasted ood item to stand
or 1 minute inside the toaster be ore
serving.
10 Remove the sandwich cage, then
open it up and tip the ood item onto
a plate.

hints & tips:
●Don’t make the slot width too narrow or close the sandwich cage too tightly
and squash the food item.
●Slices should be cleanly cut and not have ragged edges.
●For frozen bread use the frozen bread setting on the browning control.
●Cut ingredients thinly - do not use large chunks.
●Dry/stale bread toasts more quickly than fresh bread and thinly sliced bread
toasts more quickly than thickly sliced bread. Therefore the browning control
should be set at a lower setting than usual.
●For best results ensure that the bread slices are of an even thickness,
freshness and size.
●In order to achieve uniform browning, we recommend you wait a minimum of
30 seconds between each toasting so that the control can automatically
reset. Alternatively select a lower browning control setting when additional
toasting is carried out.
