Quick Start
Quick Start Guide ~ Get Brewing Quickly!
Initialization, Priming and First Brew
Pour Over Operation :
1. Plug-in brewer power cord.
2. Remove panel door from back of
brewer to access KAD controls.
3. Confirm that selector
switch is in the correct
position for Pour Over
mode to the right.
Plumbed Operation:
(either direct line or from water bottle and pump)
1. Connect water and filter lines
(be sure to flush filter before connecting
to brewer), turning water source on
before powering-up and priming the
brewer.
2. Plug-in brewer power cord.
3. Remove panel door from back of
brewer to access KAD controls.
4. Move selector switch to the left position for plumbed-in
operation of the brewer.
5. Turn power switch at back of brewer to "on" position.

6. Brewer begins to fill water tank automatically.
To Prime and Brew - simply follow instructions on the LCD. Initial heating and priming will take 3-4 minutes.
Be sure to run a couple of purge brews before first K-Cup® Press brew buttons to brew when instructed.

Quick programming For Basic LCD User Messages
A. Within 10 seconds of turning on power after priming, press the "menu"
button in the rear access panel (see picture above). This activates
the menu choices visible on the LCD screen at the front of the brewer.
B. Use the two brew buttons to toggle through menu choices and select
options.
