Note: Do not use the same source of power supply for the electrical door lock and
readers to avoid electrical sparkle interference.
Installation for Surface mounting
1. Drill into the wall for 2 holes (diameter=6mm, depth=32mm), and drill for another hole of
1/2 inch.
2. Drill the reader’s wire through the hole, and use screw (6*22mm) to peg the reader
module.
3. Cover the reader module with reader case. When you hear “Ka”, it’s OK.
Note: For 6601M, you may also inset it into the doorframe.
