Gasohol, a mixture of gasoline and
ethanol (also known as grain alco

%o not use gasohol containing more
than 1% ethanol, and do not use

energy than gasoline and it attracts
water, and it is thus likely to reduce
your fuel efficiency and could lower
your MPG results.

This vehicle is equipped with an
event data recorder (&%3). The main
purpose of an &%3 is to record, in
certain crash or near crash-like sit

data that will assist in understand

record data related to vehicle
dynamics and safety systems for a
short period of time, typically 30
seconds or less. The &%3 in this
vehicle is designed to record such
data as:
䳜How various systems in your
vehicle were operating;
䳜8hether or not the driver and
passenger safety belts were
buckled/fastened;
䳜How far (if at all) the driver was

These data can help provide a bet
-
ter understanding of the circum
-
stances in which crashes and
injuries occur. N0T&: &%3 data are
recorded by your vehicle only if a
non-trivial crash situation occurs; no
data are recorded by the &%3 under
normal driving conditions and no
personal data (e.g., name, gender,
age, and crash location) are
recorded. However, other parties,
such as law enforcement, could
combine the &%3 data with the type
of personally identifying data rou
-
tinely acquired during a crash inves

tigation.
To read data recorded by an &%3,
special equipment is required, and
access to the vehicle or the &%3 is
needed. In addition to the vehicle
manufacturer, other parties, such as
law enforcement, that have the
special equipment, can read the
information if they have access to
the vehicle or the &%3.
