To charge the Plug-In Hybrid vehicle using a normal/trickle charger:
1.ConnecttheIn-CableControlBox(ICCB)plugtoanelectricaloutlet.
2.Checkifthepowerlight(green)ontheICCBturnson.
3.Pressthebrakepedalandengagetheparkingbrake.
4.Turnoffallswitches,puttheshiftleverinP(Park),andturnoffthevehicle.
5.Openthechargingdoor Abypressingit(ensuredoorsareunlocked).
6.Removeanydustorwateronthechargingconnectorandcharginginlet B.
7.Holdthechargingconnectorhandle Candconnectittothevehicle’scharginginlet Bby
pushingtheconnectoruntilyouhearaclickingsound.
8.Chargingbeginsautomatically(ensurethechargeindicatorlightisilluminatedonyour
instrumentcluster,indicatingthevehicleischarging).
Checking the Charging Status:
Thechargingstatuscanbecheckedbyviewingthechargingstatusindicatoronthedashpanel.
Aftercharginghasstarted,thelightwillturngreenandtheestimatedchargingtimewillbe
displayedontheinstrumentclusterLCD Dforaboutoneminute.Itwillalsobedisplayedwhen
thedriver’sdoorisopenedwithcharginginprogress.Whenfullycharged,thelightwillturnoff.
