Kiddicare Urban 3 Wheeler User manual

IMPORTANT
Read these instructions carefully before use and keep
them for future reference. Your child’s safety may be
affected if you do not follow these instructions.

Urban 3 Wheeler
This vehicle is intended for children from birth up to a maximum weight of 15kgs.

To open the jogger
1. Unclip the folding latch. Lift up on the stroller handle
with both hands until the stroller frame is erect and
locked in the open position.
Rear wheel asse bly
2. Push the rear wheel housing onto the rear legs until
the spring clips come through the holes. Place the
wheel onto the axle and secure with washer (A) and the
cap (B) and the hub cap ( ). Push the wheel hub cap
into place. (Push the widest part of the washer onto the
axle first. Push the cap on to the washer. This may
require quite a bit of pressure. Make sure the cap is
sitting straight and not at an angle. Now push the hub
cap into place).
To operate the brakes
3. Step down on the linked brake bar as shown to
engage the brakes. (A) Lift up on the link brake bar to
unlock the brakes. (B)
Front wheel asse bly
4. Push the front wheel onto the front leg until it clicks
into position. The front wheel can be either set in a
swivel or fixed position.
5. Push the tab down to select a swivel front wheel. To
choose a fixed front wheel, centralise it first and lift the
tab up.
WARNING Ensure that all the locking devices are
engaged before use.
To attach the bu per bar
6. Push the end of the bar into the frame until it clicks
into position. To remove it, push the buttons on the
underside of the bar and pull out.

To recline the seat rest
7. Lift the bar and raise or lower the seat to the desired
positions. There are three positions available.
Foot rest adjust ent
8. Push the buttons on the side and raise or lower to
the desired position.
To open the canopy
9. The canopy can be pulled forward and pushed back
when not required.
To adjust and secure the harness (seat unit)
10. Push the buckle prongs in to the buckle housing
until they snap into position. Adjust sliders to ensure
a snug fit for your child. After making
adjustments to the seat always re adjust the
harness. Release the harness by pressing the button
on the buckle housing unit.
WARNING Always use the crotch strap in
co bination with the waist belt.
To fold the jogger
11. To fold the jogger, slide the primary thumb lock to
side (A), squeeze the secondary lock trigger (B) and
then rotate the whole handle forward ( ).
12. This will disengage the locks and you can now
lower the handle towards the ground.
Accessories
A raincover is supplied with this jogger. The raincover
should be placed over the hood. It should be folded
then placed in the basket when not is use
The foot rest has an optional flap that can be pulled
forward to create a cosy environment when the foot
rest is in the ‘up’ position. This creates a cosy
environment for small babies. This can then be
pushed back behind the footrest for when baby is
slightly older.

leave your child unattended.

WARNING Any load attached to
the handle affects the stability of
the pra / pushchair.
•
WARNING This product is not
suitable for running or skating.
•
Not intended for children weighing more than
15kgs. This stroller is designed for one child
only.
•
Do not attach a buggy board or similar
product for a child to ride on.
•
Always ensure the child’s harness is fitted
and adjusted safely.
•
Always ensure that all locks and brakes are
engaged before placing the child in the stroller.
•
Make sure your child is clear of all moving
parts when making adjustments to the stroller.
Do not allow other children to play with the
stroller.
•
Lift a child in and out of the stroller. Do not
allow a child to stand on the footrest or seat.
•
Do not use accessories that have not been
approved by the manufacturer.
•
Never use the buggy to carry a child up and
down stairs or escalators.
NOTE D rings have been provided for the
attachment of a separate safety harness
approved to BS 6684 (if required). The points
for attachment are located on the waist straps
of the harness.

General care:
•
The correct use and maintenance of this
stroller is essential.
•
Do not use excessive force when folding the
stroller. If you are having problems, fully open
the stroller and repeat the folding procedure.
•
Always let wheels down as gently as possible
when mounting and dismounting kerbs.
•
Always fold the stroller when going up or down
stairs. Never bump the buggy over these or
similar obstacles.
•
In some climates mould and mildew can affect
the fabric and rain cover. To avoid this, do not
fold the stroller when it is wet. Leave it open
in a ventilated area until completely dry.
•
Always store the stroller in a dry place.
•
When storing the stroller in the car, never
place other items on top of it.
•
Do not exceed the maximum load of 2 kgs in
the shopping basket. (Where provided).
Cleaning:
•
Fabric covers and trims may be spot washed
using mild detergent and warm water. Leave
to dry in a ventilated area away from direct
sunlight.
•
Avoid leaving your buggy in direct sunlight for
prolonged periods of time as this may cause
fabrics to fade.
•
Do not dry clean, machine wash or tumble dry.
•
Metal parts may be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Always wipe dry. lean plastic parts with a
mild soap and water solution, wipe dry.
Maintenance:
•
Maintain your stroller by lubricating all metal
moving parts with a light machine oil e.g.
WD-40. Do not use heavy machine oil or
grease as this can attract dirt or grit.
•
heck that nothing is loose or broken and that
no sharp edges have been exposed. Inspect all
joints and the harness, replace any damaged
parts immediately.
•
Inspect any nuts and bolts regularly to ensure
none have worked loose. Tighten as
necessary.
•
Only use replacement parts and accessories
that have been approved by the manufacturer.
Failure to do this may invalidate your warranty.
