1. Play / Pause button
Press button during playback to pause audio, and again to
resume.

2. Track Back / Rewind button
Click to skip back a track or hold down to rewind within the
current track.
3. Track Forward / Fast-forward button
Click to skip forward a track or hold down to fast-forward
within the current track.
4. Reset / Skip Book (folder) button
Click to skip to the next book (folder) or hold down to reset
to the beginning of track 1, book (folder) 1.
5. USB Port
Insert stick into the port (nb - it will only fit one way).
6. LED Indicator:
Red: charging (switches off on full charge).
Blue: Power on.
Blue flashing: playback.
Blue/red flashing: playback and charging.
Red flashing: low battery.
7. On / Off / Volume control
Rotate clockwise to switch on. You will hear a
mechanical ‘click’ and an audible tone.
8. Headphone Socket (round)
Use headphones with a mini-jack (3.5mm) connector.
9. USB C Power / Charger socket

Playing Memory Sticks
Simply insert and switch on. The player will automatically find the
audio and start playing. Use the other controls to navigate the
audio content.
Bookmarking
The player will automatically remember the last position it played
across multiple memory sticks.
Connecting with a Bluetooth source
Connecting with a Bluetooth source does not require any buttons
to be pressed on the player. Simply switch on the player (with
no USB stick inserted) and search on your Bluetooth device
(Phone, Tablet etc) for ‘Sovereign’ or ‘Bluetooth Speaker’ and
then connect. On successful connection you will hear a tone
played. NB - when a USB stick is inserted Bluetooth is disabled.
Battery and Charging
We recommend your first charge be for 6-8 hours and thereafter
charge for 1-2 hours as required. We recommend you do not
leave the charger plugged in all the time but if you do please be
aware this may reduce the batteries operating life.
To plug in the USBC charger please line-up and carefully insert
until it is seated. Caution - minimal force is needed and excessive
force or rough handling may damage the connector

To remove the battery click out once the over has been removed.
Line up the new battery with the gold contacts and replace
the cover.
Low Battery Warning: Three beeps are played when the battery is
low (about 5 mins before expiry). This is repeated 2 mins later
and then every 10 seconds until the battery expires.
Using Headphones
The headphone socket is located on the front of the player to the
left of the volume control. Only ‘mini-jack’ / 3.5mm connectors
will fit.

General Safety
Do not allow this product to be exposed to liquids, steam or
sand.
Do not leave where excessive heat can occur such as in a vehicle,
in direct sunlight, on top of a heater or other heat sources.
Do not attempt to open or dismantle any part of this product.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
If any faults are discovered do not operate, disconnect from the
mains and contact your point of purchase.
