Accurately measure your tank making note of this
measurement. The permissible maximum tank height is
3 metres from the base of your tank to the position of
the Watchman R (which should be no lower than the ll
point).(See Picture 6).
Height does not include the base/piers which tank sits on.

4. Fit your monitor
A) Mark out the location for the unit
B) Smoothen the surface at the installation location with sander or sandpaper.
C) Wipe the location using alcoholic wipes.
D) Apply an All Weather sealant under the unit generously.
E) Stick the unit to the tank making sure that the adhesive lls the space between the unit & tank.
F) Place the spirit level on the monitor and make sure its installed at.

5. Begin registration
Download the Watchman Service App from the Playstore or AppStore.
To activate the unit swipe the magnet on the hotspot, serial number label.
The Watchman R can’t sit
at an angle as this gives an
incorrect level reading.

NB: For tanks with window corrugations or internal braces
please ensure that the Watchman R is not positioned above
or within 15 cm of the area of the window or the edge of
the tank. If the Watchman R is positioned over or close to the
WINDOWED area it transmits incorrect readings.

Ensure that the radar path is clear to the bottom of the tank as
per pic 2. When installed incorrectly on some windowed tanks
the unit can experience false alarms.
