Install guide for Kinman Tele pickups (2C) in original harness.

Sketch the connections of the existing pickups on page 2.
Note: the original wiring does not have to appear exactly as shown in this diagram.
DO NOT TAMPER with
these types of tabs fixed
to wood as the shielding
will be permanently
damaged.

Shielded output
cable provided
with your Kinman
pickups.
Bypass filter.
Join and solder to vol pot
terminals as shown. This
device prevents treble loss
when lowering the volume
BUT will change the way
the pot swells; at the top
end of the range it won't
swell quite as much.
Put tape or heat shrink
tubing over the join to
prevent short circuits.
Get these parts from your local Electronics
supply shop. Please don’t ask us where to
buy.
This bypass filter is incorporated in
every Kinman harness.
0.0012µF 63 volt
polyester capacitor
130k ¼ watt
resistor

Sketch your original connections on this page before you dismantle anything. Use the same
connections for the new pickups.
