)FUNCTIONING
Drying products is an effective way for its conservation. Warm air of a fixed controllable temperature, circulates freely inside
the appliance between upper and lower trays and power base. That is why the foods which are situated on the trays of the
appliance are drying evenly and with minimum loss of vitamins. So you can enjoy fruits, vegetables, meats, etc which are
prepared without using unhealthy additives, all year round. You can also dry flowers, medicinal plants, cereals, etc with the
assistance of this appliance.
)USE OF THE APPLIANCE
1. Put the prepared foods in the removable trays. Trays for foods should be placed in such way to let the air circulate freely
between them.That is why youshould not puttoo many foods in the trays or put the foods on top of each other.
NOTE:Always begin to put foods in the lower trays first.
2. Put the trays on to the powerbase.
3. Put the lid onto the appliance.During drying the lid should always be on the appliance.
4. Plug and turn on the appliance by touching the “On/Off” button – the indicator light will turn red.
5. Set the temperature by touching the “Temperature” button. Temperature is shown on the LCD screen in Celsius degrees.
Temperature range is from 35℃to 68℃with 5 tiers in sequence: 35, 41, 46, 58 and 68℃. Following is a common
temperature guide for different kinds of food:
-Herbs & Spices - 35℃
-Nuts and Seeds - 41℃
-Crafts - 46℃
-Fruits & Vegetables - 58℃
-Meats, Fish & Jerky - 68℃
6. Set the timer by touching the“Time” button. Timer range isfrom 1 hour to 48 hours.
7. When time is up, the appliance will automatically turn off. During working, it can also be turned off by touching “On/Off”
button.
NOTE: After touching “On/Off” button, the LCD screen turns off, the turbo fan (built in the appliance) will keep working for
one minute in order to cool down the foods. After that, the turbo fan will automatically turn off and the indicator light will go

off.
8. Unplug the appliance.
9. Put the dried foods into containers / jars for storage.
NOTE: It is recommended touse all 5 trays on the appliance during use,no matter how many trays are empty. Examples:
1. The foods are in the first upper tray, and the other 4 trays areempty. Make sure that the lid is on the appliance.
2. The foods are in the first upper 2 trays, and the other 3 trays are empty. Make sure that the upper lid is on the
appliance.

1. Always wash foods before putting them into the appliance. Do not put wet foods into the appliance, and make sure they
are dry.
ATTENTION! Do not put trays with foods on the power base if there is water in it.
2. Cut off the spoiled parts of foods. Slice the foods in such a way to situate it freely between the trays. The duration of
drying products depends on thethickness of pieces into which it is sliced etc.
3. Change the position of the trays if not all foods have dried well. You can put upper trays in lower positions, closer to
power base, and lower trays in upper positions according to the conditions of different foods. Some of the fruits can be
covered by its natural protective layer and thatis why the duration of drying may increase. To avoid this matter it is better
to boil such fruits for a few minutes, cool them with cold water and wipe them dry with cloth before drying in the
appliance.
NEED TO KNOW: The duration of drying stated in this manual is approximate. The actual duration of drying depends on
the temperature and humidity ofthe room, the level of humidity of products, thicknessof the pieces etc.
)DRYING FRUITS
zWash the fruits.
zTake out the pit and cut off the spoiled parts.
zSlice into pieces, which youcan place freely between the trays.
zYou can put lemon juice on to fruits to stop them discoloring.
)DRYING VEGETABLES
zWash the vegetables.
zCut off any bad parts.
zSlice into pieces, which youcan place freely between the trays.
zIt is better to boil vegetables for about 1-5 minutes, cool them with cold water, wipe them dry with cloth before drying in
the appliance.
)DRYING MEDICINAL PLANTS
zIt is recommended to dry new leafs.
zAfter drying it is better to putmedicinal plants in paper bags or glass jars andplace it in a dark cool place.
)STORAGE OF DRIED FRUITS
zContainers used for storageof the dried products should be clean and dry.
zFor better storage ofdried fruits, use glass containerswith metal lids and put it in adark dry placewhere the temperature
is preferably between 5 and 20℃.
zDuring first week after drying it is better to check if there is any moisture in container. If yes, it means that the foods are
not dried well and you shoulddry it again.
ATTENTION! Do not place hot and even warm foods into containers for storage. Wait till the foods cool down

completely before storing it in containers.

)PRELIMINARYPREPARING OF THE VEGETABLES
1. It is recommended to boil greenbeans, cauliflower, broccoli, asparagus and potato..
How to boil: put the preliminary prepared vegetables into a saucepan with boiling water for about 3-5 minutes. Then pour
out the water, cool the vegetables with cold water, wipe them dry with cloth andput them into the appliance.
2. If you would like to add a smackof lemon to green beans, asparagus etc, just put it intoa lemon juice for about 2 minutes.
NOTE: The recomendations above areonly fact-finding and it is not a must to follow them.

)PRELIMINARY PREPARING OF THE MEAT, FISH, POULTRYAND GAMEANIMALS
Preliminary preparing of the meat is indispensable and necessary for saving health of users with use of meat without adeps. It
is recommended to pickle the meat before drying for saving its natural taste and to make the meat softer. It is necessary to
add salt to a pickle; it helps to remove the water out of the meat and save it better. Always use lean meats. Higher fat meats
do not dry properly.
STANDARD PICKLE
- 1/2 glass of soybean sauce
- 1 clove of garlic, cut to a smallpieces
- 2 big spoons of sugar
- 2 big spoons of ketchup
- 1 and 1/4 dessertspoon of salt
- 1/2 dessertspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 dessertspoon of dried pepper
-All ingredients should be mixed together.
POULTRY
Before drying, poultry should be preliminary prepared.
It is better to boil it or fry it.
Dry it for about 2-8 hours or till all moisture hasgone.
FISH
It is recommended to boil or bake it on a stove before drying. (Bake it for about 20 minutes with a temperature 200 degrees or
till the fish become friable.)
Dry it for about 2-8 hours andtill all moisture has gone.

MEATAND GAMEANIMALS
Prepare it, cut it into small pieces and put into the appliance for about 2-8 hours or till all moisture has gone.
