MANDOLINE
COMPONENTS
Handle Grip
Wide, easy to hold handle allows you to
hold the mandoline steady while in use.
Non-Slip Rear Foot
Helps to keep the mandoline stable and
folds at for easy storage.
V Slice Adjustment Dial
This dial lowers and raises the mandoline food bed
allowing you to select from 7 thickness settings for
creating slices, julienne strips, or cubes. For thicker
slices, leave a wider space between the food bed and
the v slice blade. For thinner slices, leave a narrower
space between the food bed and the v slice blade.
Julienne Blade Dial
The julienne blade dial allows you to
control the julienne blade located under the
mandoline. To use the julienne blade, gently
pull out the dial and turn clockwise. The
retractable blade located underneath the
unit will rotate and be visible on the food
bed. The julienne blade has two settings
which allows you to choose between two
thicknesses of
julienne strips. Once the desired setting
is reached, simply release the dial to lock
the blade into place. Turn again to lock the
blade away.
Blade Guard
This translucent plastic guard protects the rotating
julienne blades and makes the machine safe whilst
in use and easy to store. Simply unclip the guard to
wash the blades. Be sure to reattach the guard to the
mandoline after cleaning.
V Slice Blade
The super sharp v slice blade easily cuts
your favourite fruit and vegetables into
slices, cubes or julienne. Control the
thickness of your slices using the v slice
adjustment dial.
Food Holder
Use the food holder to grip food while
slicing. Place food directly under the holder
and press down to secure with the grip
prongs inside. Once the food is secured,
slide your ingredient up and down the food
bed to cut into the desired shape. Do not
use the mandoline without the food grip.
Food Holder Guide
Place the food holder over the food holder guide and align the edges with the
guide rails on the side of the mandoline. This will allow you to move the food
holder quickly and easily down the length of the mandoline. The food holder
guide has two images on two corners of the base indicating the direction to
turn the dial to cut diamonds and cubes.
Food Bed
The BPA free plastic food bed allows
you to guide your food up and down the
mandoline to make consistent slices, cubes
or strips.
Non-Slip Front Feet
Grips bench surfaces to stabilise the
mandoline while in use.
Slicing Blade Lock Lever
Use the slicing blade lock lever to lock the v slice blade
in position. Lock to achieve consistent thickness of
slices and strips and unlock whilst cubing and dicing.

mandoline prior to rst use following care and use instructions.
Care and Use
Hand wash with mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaning products or detergents. Wash v slice blade and julienne blades with
caution. Blades are sharp and should not be touched directly. Wash with a soft brush to avoid direct contact. Always keep out of reach
of children.
How can I use my KitchenPro Professional V Slice Mandoline?
Your Kitchen Pro Mandoline can be used to make a range of delicious dishes. From fruit salads and coleslaw to veggie chips and gratins,
the options are endless! Use fruit and vegetables that are rm and dense, as these will produce the best strips and slices. Some great
options include potatoes, carrots, onions, cucumber, zucchini, radishes, beetroots, apples, pears, melon and pineapple.
Important: When cutting fruit, always remove any hard stones and seeds to avoid damaging the mandoline blades.
Preparing Vegetables to Use on the
KitchenPro Professional V Slice Mandoline
Prior to slicing your ingredients, cut your fruit or vegetables on both ends so it neatly ts inside the food holder. Once the food is
secured in the food grip, slide the item up and down the food bed to slice.
Stop slicing when the fruit or vegetable has 5-10mm remaining to avoid the pronged grip making contact with the v slice blade or
julienne blades.

clockwise so that there are no blades
visible on the food bed. Once the blades
