Getting started
•Plug the FreePlay i to your cars 12V socket via the Charger Co ector (6)
•The LED i dicator (2) will tur Blue.
Note: Please e sure power is goi g to the car charger. You may have to tur o the e gi e.
O ce co ected a d o , the FreePlay will automatically be visible to your device a d is ready
to be set up.
To set up with your device a d i car stereo please dow load the app a d follow the
i structio s to complete a successful set up.
The FreePlay will co ect to your mobile device a d your mobile device will the co ect to
your i car stereo via Bluetooth or aux. Which the FreePlay app will explai .
Note: You will eed to dow load both the FreePlay app a d also have a Amazo Alexa
accou t to access the skills o your device. To explore more skills with Alexa, go to
www.amzo .com/Meet Alexa a d dow load the Amazo Alexa app o your iOS or A droid
device.
Ge eral i formatio ;
•E sure your stereo is i Bluetooth or aux mode (Depe di g o co ectio ) for smart
audio.
•Lo g press MFB (1) to mute Alexa. The LED i dicator (2) will be solid red. At this time,
you will ot be able to comma d the FreePlay with your voice. To wake Alexa short
press MFB (1) a d say your comma d.
•O ce comma ded the LED i dicator (2) with be a solid blue.
•The LED i dicator (2) will flash blue whe thi ki g a d respo di g to your comma d.
•The LED i dicator (2) will flash yellow whe receivi g a otificatio . This is ormally
whe the app requires a update.

The Alexa Skills app will show what to say to access certai skills.
To access calls a d avigatio , the comma d ‘Ask Smart Charger’ will eed to be made after
sayi g ‘Alexa’ as per below;
To make calls – ‘Alexa, Ask Smart Charger’ (Pause, FreePlay will make a to e) ‘call Steve’
To access Navigatio – ‘Alexa, Ask Smart Charger’ (Pause, FreePlay will make a to e) ‘to take
me home’
All other Alexa comma ds wo ’t require a comma d word(s). As per below;

‘Alexa, tell me a joke’
