The working process
The KITTEC® Clay separator, which is also called glaze- and clay settling tank, acts to keep
away glaze, clay and rests of engobes off the canalisation. Therefore the clay separator is
mounted under the wash basin.

Fitting
The KITTEC® Clay separator fits under every standard wash basin.
Take the existing flow set from the wash basin. onnect now the provided discharge pipe to
your wash basin and to the clay separator.
onnect the drain with your house connection. Pay attention to proper and tight connections.

Starting-up
Fill the KITTEC® Clay separator slowly with fresh water, until all chambers are filled with
water. heck the connections and pipes on tightness and increase the water pressure slowly.
Now you can find out the best water pressure for a trouble-free procedure. The less water
pressure, the better the effect.
Safety tips
The use of the product prescribes the use of water mixed with clay, glazes and plaster.
Warranty
We grant three years guarantee with proper use.
Maintenance and Care
heck from time to time the deposed masses. We recommend a total cleaning approx. all 6 to
12 month, depends on intensity of use. The deposed masses can be dried and disposed as
construction waste at the next recycling depot.
