When making instantaneous expo-
suresor snapshots,
the subject shouli.

cameramust not. The sun should be
behind your back or over the shoulder.
If it shinesdirectly into the lensit will
blur and fog the picture.
To make portraits outdoors, when
the sun is shiningbrightly, the subject
should be in the shade of a buildins
or a largetree, but with clearand unl
obstructed
sky overhead-use stop No.
3 or No. 4, place
the Kodak on some
firm, steadysupport (do not hold it in
the hands) and make a shorttime ex-
posure. The exposurelever C should
be moved twice. up and downordown
