OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR MODEL 1832 SECURITY SYSTEM
To clear a mistake:
Press #
To arm the system when no one is staying inside the premises:
Enter the combination
The exit delay permits you to exit the delayed door. The system
senses a delayed door was opened/closed and automatically activates
the interior detection devices.
To bypass a detection device:
Press *1 and zones to be bypassed - Ex: 04 for zone 4, 05 for zone 5
Press # and the combination
To arm the perimeter while at home and later arm the interior:
Enter the combination (activates perimeter)
Press *1 (activates interior devices)
To reset the panic system:
Enter the combination
To reset the fire alarm:
A) Before 30 seconds have elapsed - Press your 4-digit code to stop siren
Press *72, or RESET button on the keypad,
to reset the detectors
B) After 30 seconds have elapsed - Press your 4-digit code to stop siren
Press *72, or RESET button on the keypad,
to reset detectors
Call 422-8823 to cancel the fire dispatch

To review an alarm event in memory (memory light on):
Press *3 - The zone/zones violated will blink
Press # to return to normal (Memory light may stay on until the system is rearmed)
To review a trouble condition (trouble light on and system beeping every 10 seconds):
Press *2 - A zone light will illuminate indicating the type of trouble
Press # to return to normal
Zone Light - 1 - Service Required - Press 1 (zone light will show troubled area)
1 - Low Battery
2 - Siren Trouble
3 - General System Trouble
4 - General System Tamper
5 - General System Supervisory
6 - Not Used
7 - PC5204 Low Battery
8 - PC5204 AC Power Failure
Zone Light - 2 - Loss of AC Power
Zone Light - 3 - Telephone Line Trouble
Zone Light - 4 - Fail to Communicate
Zone Light - 5 - Zone Fault - Press 5 (zone light will show troubled area)
Zone Light - 6 - Zone Tamper - Press 6 (zone light will show troubled area)
Zone Light - 7 - Low Zone Battery - Press 7 (zone light will show troubled area)

Silence and Reset Alarm
Before 30 seconds have elapsed:
• Enter 4-digit code to stop siren
• Press *72, or, Press RESET button on the keypad
To reset detectors
After 30 seconds have elapsed:
• Press # to stop siren
• Press *72, or, Press RESET button on the keypad
• Call 260-422-8823 to cancel the fire dispatch
