Safety
•Do not use t e reversing camera w en driving normally. T e camera will be a
distraction.
•Do not rely only on t e reversing camera to ensure t e pat is clear for reversing.
Please use t e side windows and side mirrors to ensure t at t e environment is
clear of obstacles, people, animals and ot er azards.

Connections
T e unit is simple to install in your car, owever we recommend you ave a licensed
auto-electrician install it to ensure t at you do not damage your car.
Step one: connect t e Mirror / Viewscreen (A) to t e Signal Splitter (B) via t e 6-pin
plug. T e signal splitter (B) can t en be connected to t e wireless receiver (C). T e
blue wire is not used and can be tied o neatly.
Step two: connect t e Rear Camera (D) to t e Wireless Transmitter (E) via t e red and
yellow plugs as s own above.
Battery Connections
T e Mirror / Viewscreen unit can be connected directly to t e battery power, w ereas
t e camera unit s ould be connected to t e power supply line to t e reversing lig ts.
T is will ensure t at t e camera will become active w en in reversing gear only.
To correctly connect t e units to t e car battery, we recommend you use a licensed
auto-electrician. Kogan is not responsible for any s orts, battery damage, fire or ot er
issues arising from incorrect installation of t e unit.

Installation
T e view screen/mirror simply clamps over your existing rearview mirror. W en your car
is in reverse, it will act as a viewscreen, giving you a clear view of w at is be ind your
car. W en t e car is not in reverse, t e ig ly reflective surface will act as t e rearview
mirror.

T e camera s ould be mounted centrally on t e rear of t e car, angled so t at t e view
immediately be ind t e car can be viewed. T is will ensure you will be able to easily see
small c ildren and ot er obstacles t at would normally not be visible.
Controls
On t e edge of t e Mirror / Viewscreen unit, t ere are 5 buttons located on t e rig t-
and side. From t e top downwards, t ey are Up, M, Down, V1/V2 and t en Power.
•Power: turn unit power ON/OFF.
•V1/V2: toggle between wireless (V1) and wired (V2) connections.
•M: Function menu.
•Up + Down: move cursor in t e function menu.
