To avoid unnecessary mistakes and accidents, it is important to ensure that all people using
the appliance are thoroughly familiar with its operation and safety features.
Save this user guide and ensure that it remains with the appliance if it is moved or sold, so
that everyone using it through its life will be properly informed on appliance operation and
safety.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with
reduce physical sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision. Children aged from 3 to 8 years can load and
unload refrigerating appliances.
• Keep all packaging well away from children. There is risk of suffocation.
• If you are discarding the appliance pull the plug out of the socket, cut the power cable
(as close to the appliance as you can) and remove the door to prevent children from
closing themselves in it.
• If this appliance featuring magnetic door seals is to replace an older appliance having a
spring lock (latch) on the door or lid, be sure to make that spring lock is unusable before
you discard the old appliance. This will prevent it from becoming a death trap for a
child.
General safety
• WARNING: Ensure that the power cord/plug is not squashed or damaged by the rear of
the appliance. A squashed or damaged power cord/plug may overheat and cause a
fire.
• WARNING: Do not place multiple power boards or extension cords behind the
appliance.
• Keep ventilation openings, clear of obstructions.
• Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process.
• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
• Do not use other electrical appliances (such as ice cream makers) inside of this
refrigerator.
• Do not touch the light bulb if it has been on for a long period of time as it may become
very hot.

• Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in
this appliance.
• The refrigerant isobutane (R-600a) is contained within the refrigerant circuit of the
appliance, a natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility, which is
nevertheless flammable.
• During transportation and installation of the appliance, be certain that none of the
components of the refrigerant circuit become damaged.
• Avoid open flames and sources of ignition
• Thoroughly ventilate the room in which the appliance is situated.
• Do not alter the specifications or modify this product in any way.
• If the power cord shows any signs of damage, cease use immediately and contact

• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
o staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
o farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type
environments;
o bed and breakfast type environments;
o catering and similar non-retail applications.
• Any electrical components (plug, power cord, compressor etc.) must only be replaced
by a certified service agent or qualified service personnel.
• The light bulb supplied with this appliance is a “special use light bulb” usable only with
the appliance supplied. This light bulb is not suitable for domestic lighting.
• Do not operate the appliance without the light bulb.
• The power cord must not be lengthened.
• Ensure there is enough room behind the appliance to allow adequate access to the
power plug and electrical outlet.
• Do not place multiple

• This appliance is heavy. Care should always be taken when moving it.
• Do not remove nor touch items from the freezer compartment if your hands are

Daily use
• Do not place hot items on the plastic parts of this appliance.
• Do not place food products directly against the rear wall of the refrigerator.
• Frozen food must not be re-frozen once it has been thawed out.
• Store pre-packed frozen food in accordance with the frozen food package instructions.
• Do not place carbonated of fizzy drinks in the freezer compartment as it creates
pressure on the container, which may cause it to explode, resulting in damage to the
appliance.
• Frozen desserts can cause frost burns if consumed straight from the appliance.
• To avoid contamination of food, please respect the following instructions:
o Opening the door for long periods can cause a significant increase of the
temperature in the compartments of the appliance.
o Frequently clean surfaces that come in contact with food and drainage
systems.
o Clean water tanks if they have not been used for 48 hours. Flush the water
system if water has not been drawn for 5 days.
o Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the refrigerator, so they will
not contact or drip onto other food.
o 2-star frozen-food compartments (if they are presented in the appliance) are
suitable for storing pre-frozen food, storing or making ice-cream and making
ice cubes.
o 1, 2 and 3-star compartments (if they are presented in the appliance) are not
suitable for the freezing of fresh food.
o If the appliance is left empty for long periods, switch off, defrost, clean, dry
and leave the door open to prevent mould developing within the appliance.
Cleaning and care
• Before maintenance, switch off the appliance and disconnect the power cord from the
electrical outlet.
• Do not clean the appliance with metal objects.
• Do not use sharp objects to remove frost from the appliance. Always use a plastic
scraper.
• Regularly examine the drain in the refrigerator for defrosted water. If necessary, clean
the drain. If the drain is blocked, water will collect in to bottom of the appliance.

Important!
• For all electrical connections carefully follow the instructions given in this user guide.
• Unpack the appliance, inspect all wiring and components for any signs of damage. If
so, do not connect the appliance and contact help.Kogan.com for support.
• After unpacking, it is recommended to wait at least 4 hours before connecting the
appliance to power. This allows the oil to settle back in the compressor.
• Ensure adequate air circulation is around the appliance. Failure to do so leads to
overheating. To achieve sufficient ventilation, follow the instructions in the “Installation”
section.
• To prevent possible burns, wherever possible the spacers of the product should be
against a wall to avoid touching any warm parts (compressor, condenser).
• The appliance must not be located close to radiators, cookers or other sources of heat.
• Ensure there is enough room behind the appliance to allow adequate access to power
plug and electrical outlet.
Service
• Any electrical work required for the servicing of the appliance should be carried out by a
qualified electrician or authorised representative of Kogan.com.
• This product must be serviced by an authorised service centre and only genuine spare
parts must be used.
Energy saving
• Don't place hot food in the appliance.
• Don't pack food too closely together as this prevents air circulation.
• Ensure food does not touch the back of the compartments.
• In the event of a power outage, avoid opening the doors.
• Do not open the doors frequently.
• Do not keep the doors open for an extended time.
• Do not set the thermostat to exceeding cold temperatures.
• All accessories, such as drawers, shelves and racks, should be kept in their intended
positions.

Environment protection
This appliance does not contain gasses which could damage the ozone layer, in either
its refrigerant circuit or insulation materials. The appliance shall not be discarded together
with regular household waste. The insulation foam contains flammable gases: the
appliance shall be disposed according to the appliance regulations of your local authorities.
Avoid damaging the cooling unit, especially the heat exchanger. The materials used on this
appliance marked by the symbol are recyclable.
Disposal of the appliance
• Disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet.
• Cut off the power cable and discard it.
• Always remove the doors before placing the refrigerator outside for collection.

• Remove all packaging material before using the refrigerator. This includes the foam
base and all adhesive tape holding the refrigerator accessories inside and outside.
• Clean both the inside and outside of the refrigerator with a damp cloth. A small amount
of neutral detergent can be added to warm water to wash the cloth and continue
wiping the appliance with clean water.
• Locate an independent, properly grounded power outlet which does not share a multi-
purpose socket with other electrical appliances.
• Do not connect a separate grounding wire. The grounding pole of the power plug will
provide adequate and reliable grounding.
Transportation
• Do not invert, apply pressure to the sides of or excessively vibrate the unit. When
moving, the tilt angle cannot exceed 45 degrees.
• Do not attempt to move the unit by the doors.
Placement
• Ensure proper air circulation around the refrigerator. Do not place the unit near heat
sources, direct sunlight, moisture or water.
• Install the refrigerator on solid, level flooring.

Notes:
• Do not allow the refrigerator any or other heavy object to be placed on the power
cable, as damaging the cable may present an electrical hazard.
• Before connecting the appliance to power, please check the voltage rating of
refrigerator and power supply carefully.

Space Requirement
• Allow enough space for the doors to open without fouling.
• Ensure that the refrigerator has least 50mm clearance above and at least 50mm on
the sides and back. This ensures the refrigerator doors can open or close conveniently
and avoids heat build-up.

Levelling the refrigerator
Rotate the adjustable feet clockwise feet to raise the fridge and rotate them counter-
clockwise to lower it.
Levelling the doors
After transportation and once the door racks have been loaded with
food and beverages, the two upper doors may be misaligned. There
are 3 slotted washers supplied with this appliance which can be used
to adjust the doors. Follow the steps below to level the doors:
1. Before starting, ensure the fridge is level then check the alignment of the doors.
2. If the top of the two upper doors is misaligned, lift the bottom of the door and then
using a pair of pliers carefully insert a slotted washer between the bottom of door
and the middle hinge.
3. Re-check the alignment of the doors and add additional slotted washers if
required, until the doors are both levelled and aligned.

Rubber blocks
Each door should have a rubber stopper installed from the
factory. These stoppers are designed to absorb the impact from
when the doors are closed.
Do not remove the rubber blocks. If any are absent, install one of
the supplied rubber blocks included in the accessory bag into the
holes in the doors.
WARNING: Choking hazard! Keep the rubber stoppers away from
children to avoid them being swallowed.

Location
• The appliance should be installed well away from sources of heat such as radiators,
cookers, direct sunlight etc. Ensure that air can circulate freely around the back of the
unit.
• To ensure optimal performance, avoid placing the unit below overhanging wall units.
However, if the appliance is positioned below an overhanging wall unit, the minimum
distance between the top of the cabinet and the wall unit must be at least 10cm.
• This refrigerating appliance is not intended to be used as a built-in appliance.
Electrical connection
Before plugging in, ensure that the voltage frequency shown on the rating plate correspond
to your house’s power supply. The appliance must be earthed. Note: The power supply plug
is already provided with a pole for this purpose.
WARNING: It must be possible to disconnect the appliance from the
mains power supply; the plug must therefore be easily accessible after
installation.

DISPLAY
• The control panel will illuminate for 2 minutes once one of the doors has been opened.
• The control panel will illuminate for 2 minutes after one of the buttons has been
pressed.
• After 25 seconds with no user input the display will automatically.
• During normal operation the control panel will display the following information:
o The current temperature of the fridge compartment.
o The current temperature of the freezer compartment.
o The current temperature of the convertible zone.
A. Temperature Control of the Fridge Compartment:
• You can adjust the temperature of the fridge compartment in both “User Defined” and
“Super Freezing” modes.
• Press the Fridge temp. setting button, the icon will begin flashing.
• Continuously pressing the button will cycle through the temperature range “2 ˚C, 3˚C,
4 ˚C, 5 ˚C, 6˚C, 7˚C, 8˚C”.
• Once the desired temperature has been selected the icon will flash for 5 seconds before
locking in the chosen temperature.
B. Temperature Control of the Freezer Compartment:
• You can adjust the temperature of the fridge compartment in both “User Defined” and
“Holiday” modes.
• Press the Freezer temp. setting button, the icon will begin flashing.
• Continuously pressing the button will cycle through the temperature range “-14˚C,
-15˚C, -16˚C, -17˚C, -18˚C, -19˚C, -20˚C, -21˚C, -22˚C”.
• Once the desired temperature has been selected the icon will flash for 5 seconds before
locking in the chosen temperature.
C. Temperature Control of the Convertible Zone:
• Press the Convertible zone temp. setting button, the icon will begin flashing.
• Continuously pressing the button will cycle through the temperature range “5˚C, 4˚C,
3˚C, 2˚C, 1˚C, 0˚C, -1˚C, -2˚C, - 3˚C”.
• Once the desired temperature has been selected the icon will flash for 5 seconds before
locking in the chosen temperature.

D. Mode selection:
Pressing the Mode button consecutively will cycle through the different operation modes
“ECO, Holiday, Super Freezing & User Defined”.
E. Child Lock:
Press and hold for 3 seconds to enable the child lock. When enabled all button inputs will
be invalid. To disable the child lock press and hold this button for 3 seconds.
OPERATION MODES
1. ECO mode: Use the mode button to select ECO Mode. The icon will illuminate and
flashes for 5 seconds. The Fridge compartment will be set to a temperature of 6˚C and
the freezer will set to -16˚C. Pressing the “Freezer” or “Fridge” button while in this mode
will have no effect and will cause the ECO icon to flash 3 times in alarm. The
temperature of the convertible zone can be adjusted freely using the convertible zone
temp. setting.
To exit ECO mode, select a different mode using the “Mode” button.
2. HOLIDAY mode: Use the “Mode” button to select Holiday mode. The icon will
illuminate and flashes for 5 seconds. The temperature in the fridge compartment will
be set to 17˚C. Pressing the “Fridge” button while in this mode will have no effect and
will cause the Holiday icon to flash 3 times in alarm. Temperature of the freezer
compartment and convertible zone can be adjusted freely.
To exit Holiday mode, select a different mode using the “Mode” button.
3. SUPER FREEZING mode: Use the “Mode” button to select Super Freezing mode. The
icon will illuminate and flashes for 5 seconds. The temperature in the freezer
compartment will be set to -25˚C. Pressing the “Freezer” button while in this mode will
have no effect and will cause the Super Freezing icon to flash 3 times in alarm. This
mode will not affect the temperature of the fridge and convertible zone. These can be
adjusted freely.
To exit Super Freezing mode, select a different mode using the “Mode” button.
Alternatively, the fridge will automatically exit this mode after 50 hours.
Door open alarm
• When the doors are left open or have not been closed completely, after 60 seconds,
the appliance will sound an alarm. Closing the doors will stop the alarm.
• If the doors are not closed. the alarm will continue to sound every 30 seconds until the
doors are closed.
• If doors are open continuous for 10 minutes without closing, the internal LED light will
turn off automatically.

Thawing
Frozen food prior to being used can be thawed in the fridge compartment or at room
temperature, depending on the time available.
Movable shelves
The walls of the refrigerator are equipped with a series of runners to allow the shelves to be
positioned as desired.
Positioning the door racks
To permit storage of food packages of various sizes, the door racks can be placed at
different heights. To make these adjustments, pull the rack upwards until it comes free,
then reposition as required.
Safe food storage
It is recommended to only store fresh food no longer than 3 days and frozen foods no more
than a month. Always refer to the instructions on your food’s packaging.
Note: Storage times may be impacted under certain settings and environmental changes.

Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the interior and all internal accessories
with lukewarm water and some neutral soap to remove the typical smell of a new
appliance, then dry thoroughly.
Cleaning the water tank
Before using the water dispenser for the first time, remove and clean the water tank located
inside the refrigeration compartment.
1. Remove the water tank. Detach the top cover and wash and clean both the tank and
the cover.
2. After cleaning, reposition water tank, cover as below.
3. Clean the dispenser level outside the refrigerator door.
