your tank has not been damaged during
shipment before you start the setup process.
Completely set up the aquarium before
plugging your unit into an electrical outlet.
To avoid your plug or electrical outlet
becoming wet it is best to form a drip loop in
your cord as shown. Use of a GFCI rated
outlet or circuit is recommended.
Fill the aquarium with water to within one
inch of the top of the tank. Do not overll
since spillage may occur. For the lter to
funcon properly it is important the lter is
always submerged to the recommended
water-line mark found on the side of the
lter.

posioning the lter so it is completely seat-
ed. Rinse lter cartridge under running tap
water and insert lter cartridge into cartridge

back of the hood. Insert the barrel plug into
the receptacle port at the back of the hood.

8. Connecng Power Adapter
Insert the Power Adaptor’s barrel plug into
the receptacle port located on top of the
hood at the back as shown below.
To turn on/o LED light press the blue
buon on the top of the Lid. To select
desired light color repeatedly press the blue
buon unl color selecon is located.
The LED light has 7 dazzling colors to choose
from: Amber, Aqua, Blue, Green, Purple, Red
and White plus 4 addional color combina-
ons along with transioning fade-in and
fade-out selecons.

To turn the lter on, Insert the connector
plug at the end of the lter power cord
into the appropriate port on the back of
the hood.
To turn the lter o, remove the
connector plug from the port.
11. Replacement Filter Cartridge
Change the lter cartridge every three to
four weeks depending on number of sh in
your tank and amount of daily feedings or
when heavily soiled.
Koller Products XS cartridges (AQ05FC-60)
can be purchased online.
Treat the water with a water condioner to
remove chlorine and chloramines from tap
water that can be harmful to your sh.
Allow me for the water in your aquarium
to reach room temperature.

aquarium product to be free from defects in
material and workmanship under normal use
and service and according to the provisions as
specified in the accompanying assembly and
operating instructions, for a period of 2 years
