Therollandpitchoffsetfunctionalityhasbeenimproved.Theoffsetvaluesnow
followtherotationofthemotionsensor(ifithasrotation).
Improvedpresentationofwatercurrent
Thepresentationofthewatercurrentlayersareupdatedtoshowspeedwith
decimals.
Newtrackedtargetmaynotbeprioritytarget
Normally,anewtrackedtargetwillbegivenprioritystatusandtakecontrolofthe
tiltandbearingsettings.Youcannowpreventthissothatanewtrackedtargetdoes
notautomaticallybecomeaprioritymarker.UseanewsettingintheUserSetting

Softwarelicenses
TheSimradSX90isnotalicensedproduct.
TheSX90systemdoesnotneedanysoftwarelicensestooperate.However,specic
softwarelicensecodes"unlocks"additionalfunctionality.
Thesoftwarelicenseisa32characterhexadecimalstringbasedonthehardware
identier(HardwareID).Thisuniqueidentierisgeneratedusinginformationfrom
keycomponentsintheProcessorUnit.Thesoftwarelicenseislinkedtothephysical
ProcessorUnit.YoucannotmovetheSX90systemsoftwarefromoneProcessorUnitto
anotherunlessyoualsorequestandinstallanewlicense.
Inordertoobtainasoftwarelicenseyoumustcontactoneofourdealersordistributors.

Colourscales
IntheColourSetupdialogbox,allexistingusersettingswillforEchoColourswill
reverttoNormsl.Ifyouhaveusersettingswithothersettingsyouneedtoload
theseusersettings,changeEchoColoursfromNormaltoyourownpreference.To
keepthesamenamefortheusersetting,justdeleteitrstandsavewitholdname.
ModeSelectiononOperatingPanelpage
Thedefaultvalueforthissettingisnowtochangepresentationmodes.Ifyoustill
wishtousethebuttonstoselectusersettingsyoumustactivatethisbydeselecting
.Theoldusersettingswillstillbethere.

NewManuallyInitiatedTrack
Duringnormaloperation,someechoesareclearlymoreinterestingthanothers.In
manysituationsspecicechoesmayberegardedastargets.TosetuptheSX90
systemtoprovidesuchinformation,youcanstarttargettracking.
TheInitiateTrackfunctionallowsyoutomanuallystarttargettracking.
Placethecursorovertheechoyouwishtotrack.SelectInitiateTrack.Thetracked
targetisregardedasanobject,anditisidentiedwithacircleandtwolines.The
bearinglineisautomaticallylockedontheobjecttoreectsitsbearing.
Bydefault,anewmanuallyinitiatedtrackedobjectisautomaticallygivenpriority
status.Ifanotherobjecthasthispriority,thestatusistransferredtothenewobject.
Thepriorityisidentiedwitha"P".

TheNewMarkerdialogboxallowsyoutocreateanewmarkerbasedontheknowndepth
andgeographicalpositionofanewtarget.

Usethisfunctionalityifyouneedtocreate
amarkerbasedongeographicalinformation
fromanexternalsource.Youcanplace
markersonforexamplewrecks,obstacles
ontheseabedorcoralreefs.Foreachnew
