Getting Started
Welcome
Congratulations on your purchase of the
A770 Vehicle Docking. This manual
will describe the Mechanical installation
& hardware features of your vehicle
docking plus give you a basic overview of
the operation system and installed
applications.
Unpacking
Check to be sure that your A770 Vehicle
Docking package contains the following
items:
Screw x 4 pcs
DC Adapter
Bracket x 1 pcsCar DC Adapter x 1 pcs
DC Power Cable x 1 pcs Key x 2 pcs

Installation Instructions
1. Installing the Car DC Adapter.
1-1. To install the Car DC Adapter with
DC Adapter Bracket.
Caution: The power indicator (Green Light) has to face the top,
Otherwise the power connector socket cannot match with socket hole:

1-2. To install Car DC Adapter assembly
with Vehicle Docking by 4 Screws.

2. Electrical Guidelines
With the mechanical installation
complete, connect the power cables.
2-1. Plug the Car DC Adapter power
cable into Port Replicator.
Caution: “Port Replicator can only
connect the power from Car DC
Adapter”.

Car DC Adapter and Docking
Power-in.

Engaging A770 with Vehicle Docking
With assembled Vehicle Docking, the
A770 can engage with the Vehicle
Docking.
Caution: “The Software of Vehicle Docking
Driver has to be installed before engage the
computer with Vehicle Docking. Please refer
to the bundleDriver CD for the detail of the
Software installation”.
1. Plug the DC Power cable into the vehicle
internal power socket (Cigar-Lighter), and
turn on the Power switch then the External
Power Indicator (Red Light) glows.

2. Pull the bracket front slide of he Vehicle
Docking all the way open.
3. Position A770 onto the Vehicle Docking
against the front Guide Pins.

4. Open the Port-Replicator Port’s Door.
Caution: Port-Replicator Port’s Door
MUST be held (as Figure below) while the
Vehicle Docking is engaging with
Computer.
Then the Port-Replicator Connector can
plug into the Port Replicator Port.

6. Push the bracket front slide into the
vehicle docking.
Lock key of the vehicle docking.
