Cool
Press once to enable/disable evaporative cooling function. The
“COOL”indicator (12) will illuminate when function is enabled.
Before using this function check water level in water tank.

Ionizer
Press once to enable/disable ionizer function. Ionizer indicator (13)
will illuminate when function is enabled.

Wind
Press button to switch between different wind/ventilation modes
(“NORMAL”, “NATURE (WIND)”, “SLEEP”). The currently selected
mode is shown by the indicator lights (09, 10 and 11). When
selected “NATURE” mode simulates gusts of wind and “SLEEP”
mode reduces intensity over time

Timer
The unit has a built-in timer function. When enabled periods of
0.5h, 1h,2h,4h can be selected up to a maximum of 7.5h using the
selector buttons (19).

Speed
Press button to select “LOW”, “MEDIUM” or “HIGH” fan speeds.
The current selected speed will be shown by the indicator lights
(16,17 and 18)

Swing
Press “HORIZONTAL SWING” or “VERTICAL SWING” to
enable/disable horizontal and vertical movement of louvres

On/Off
Press once to turn unit on or off. The low fan speed and standard
normal wind indicator will illuminate

Operating the Koolmist 300
1. Remove the Koolmist 300 from the packaging taking care to retain any
separately packed components.
2. Check and remove any temporary packing or security tape used to protect
the unit during transit.
3. Insert CR2032 button cell battery (not supplied) into the remote control.
4. Confirm the paper cooling pad and air filter are correctly assembled in the
unit.
5. Check the power cord for any damage. If the power cord is damaged do not
use the unit and contact an authorised service agent for guidance.
6. Fill the Koolmist 300 with water or ice cubes through the top flap as shown
below taking care not to overfill the unit. Alternatively, the water tank can
also be filled by removing the top of the unit as shown in the maintenance
section.

7. Depending on the electric plug requirements of the country the unit is
being used in, either connect the unit to an electricity supply of the correct
voltage and type or where necessary remove the supplied converter plug to
expose the Schuko CEEE 7/7 EU plug plug.

8. Operate the unit using the buttons on the remote control or the operator
panel.

Maintenance and Cleaning
1. Before undertaking any cleaning or maintenance activities ensure the
power cord is removed from the electricity supply.
2. The outside of the unit can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use
abrasive or solvent based cleaning agents to clean the unit.
3. The internal water tank can be cleaned by separating the fan unit from the
water tank as shown below.
The paper cooling pad can be removed for cleaning as shown below

Troubleshooting
Symptom

No Power to Unit
No power at socket, fuse blown or circuit
breaker tripped. Move plug to another
socket, replace fuse or reset circuit
breaker.
Cool or humidity function not working
Water level in unit too low. Refill water
tank in unit
Small ‘tweet’ from water tank
Low water level in water tank. Top up

Water leaking from vent
Check cooling pad is correctly installed
Air not circulating
Enable ‘Swing’ function
Cooling function button on operator panel
is RED not GREEN
Water level in unit is below minimum

workmanship for a period of twelve months after purchase. Proof of purchase
